Kirby Jackson Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 I wonder if the Bills would have reached and drafted Dak Prescott higher had they not had Tyrod on the roster. I know they liked him and brought him in for a visitCardale was their guy. That was the QB that they wanted. They might have went for him a round earlier but he was the Bills QB target. I guess that it is possible that their board would have looked different if Tyrod wasn't here and they needed a guy to start. Cardale was never going to be a year 1 starter (I think 2018 before he can play). Connor Cook felt like the guy that was most ready to play to me. I don't remember where the Bills stood on him? I don't think that anyone last year thought that Dak was a Day 1 starter including the Cowboys. It was going to be luck wherever he landed. Quote
26CornerBlitz Posted November 25, 2016 Author Posted November 25, 2016 @dpbrugler So many awesome CFB match-ups this weekend. Here are the NFL prospects I'll be focusing on: https://t.co/nBlrtRqg4g Don't sleep on Toledo at WMU this afternoon. There are 5-6 players in this match-up who will be drafted in the 2017 class. Blokestradamus Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 So, the Cleveland Browns have a guy in their communications department named Dan Murphy. He's the cousin of Mitch Trubisky. Interesting........ Quote

He's a talented kid that's likely got his best football ahead of him. On a side note, I'll be happy when folks stop putting Fournette in as a top 5 pick. Not even the best RB in the class Quote

26CornerBlitz Posted November 25, 2016 Author Posted November 25, 2016 @AllbrightNFL 1/ Talked to two persons in NFL scouting depts. Both said they like Trubisky, but would prefer he returned for SR year. Given weak class, 2/ they understood advice he's getting on leaving early. They said overall QB talent pool in this class weaker than 2013 Quote

GunnerBill Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 I am guessing I have just picked a bad game to watch him... but Trubisky has been rough here. A couple of nice throws and he is mobile but generally skittish in the pocket, and early on too many throws before his receivers are out of their breaks. Quote

This game could be the tell tale for him Quote
Blokestradamus Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Hey Bloke, gonna watch Luke Falk against Wash? This game could be the tell tale for him It's not being screened live here. Honestly not watched him all year, wasn't a fan watching his 2015 games back. He was a bit too Air-Raidy for me, skittish under pressure. If he can move the ball deep on that secondary, you can colour me impressed. Big fan of Gabe Marks though, his #1 WR. Quote

Blokestradamus Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Blokes, is this QB class as bad as 2013? It looks awful to me. I don't think it's 2013 bad but it's not the time to be needing a QB and holding a top 5 pick. There's no superstar QB out there. A couple of guys I wouldn't mind if I'm a team with an aging QB and have the luxury of being patient for a year or two. There's some potential but, as we know, potential just means that you ain't done **** yet. BUG HOWARD LIVES!!!!! You are all witnesses. https://twitter.com/RobRang/status/802244257142730752 Quote

26CornerBlitz Posted November 25, 2016 Author Posted November 25, 2016 @dpbrugler Not sure if that was Trubisky's final game in Chapel Hill. But if it was, he played very well and showed why scouts see him as a top-10 guy. Quote
