JohnC Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 Doesn't matter since Pegula is making the picks Pegula is using an intermediary. He told Whaley to check with McDermott because he is the new voice in town. If Whaley selected or got whoever to select Watson my opinion of him would take a dramatic turn upwards. Quote

Lets hope the "group" over rules this Quote
jeffismagic Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 Doesn't matter since Pegula is making the picks No, Pegula is just the decider. He will take the room's temperature and whoever sells him the best makes the call. Quote

jeffismagic Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Surprised that you didn't just say "that's all we need" and drop the mic after taking Mahomes. No need for any picks after that If you land a franchise QB it makes the rest of the draft gravy. But I am sure you understand how a top QB will change a franchise while an outside linebacker creates no change to the direction of a team. Quote

I am just not convinced that there is a good NFL QB available. To be clear, if they think that there is a good QB prospect available, then by all means I agree that they should take the QB. Quote

People want can't miss but I think if you see a Derek Carr level prospect pull the trigger. Quote
