GunnerBill Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 I'd settle for that one as well Blokes. First 3 guys all have chances to be major contributors early and I love the George Kittle pick. Good crop of tight ends this. Quote

Good crop of tight ends this. I really like it, although I'm not sure it's entirely realistic. This one through First-Pick definitely isn't Round 1 Pick 17 (WASH): Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama Round 2 Pick 12: DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame Round 2 Pick 17 (WASH): Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama Round 3 Pick 11: Chris Godwin, WR, Penn State Round 3 Pick 17 (WASH): Marcus Williams, FS, Utah Round 5 Pick 12: George Kittle, TE, Iowa Round 5 Pick 27: Deatrich Wise Jr., DE, Arkansas Round 6 Pick 17 (WASH): Calvin Munson, OLB, San Diego State Round 7 Pick 15 (CAR): Cameron Johnston, P, Ohio State Quote

Blokestradamus Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 double digit teams lied to him To be fair, he didn't say that they were NFL teams. like the trade down, hope we get better players, if we get Kizer we will be screwed for another 3 yrs. You do realise that when Kizer ends up being the best QB in the class, I'm going to be insufferable, right? Quote
YoloinOhio Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Ok which CBs in the draft meet this criteria? @joshnorris I also wonder if McDermott carries CAR's preference of 32-plus inch arms for outside CBs up to BUF. Neither Darby or Seymour reach it. Quote

Blokestradamus Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 awesome - some really good names that fit the bill!! No pun intended. There's also Kent Lee Platte's RAS (Relative Athletic Score) spreadsheet. Kent is compiling as much data as possible, has everything from the Combine and is working to fill out as much Pro Day data as possible. Stuff like arm length doesn't always come out from a Pro Day so it might not be useful for that. For everything else though, it's a work of art. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EXhJ9NIiuyAPNMGpBczBYnD9mCKN6pbwXN2daW96Zf0/edit#gid=0 Quote
NewEra Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 (edited) 10: R1P10 LB REUBEN FOSTER ALABAMA 44: R2P12 CB FABIAN MOREAU UCLA 75: R3P11 WR CHRIS GODWIN PENN STATE 157: R5P12 S MONTAE NICHOLSON MICHIGAN STATE 172: R5P27 TE GEORGE KITTLE IOWA 196: R6P11 OT ANDREAS KNAPPE CONNECTICUT I'd blow loads if that happened. It's my ideal draft. I think Foster, Moreau Godwin and Nicholson will be off the board before we can take them in the respective rds.. but we can dream!! Edited March 26, 2017 by NewEra Quote

Blokestradamus Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 No idea who the fat bloke wearing #99 is on the Cal offense but he's easily my favourite player on that team. Davis Webb is a painful watch. I've fallen in and out of love about 6 times and now I hate him. This would be an excellent draft imo, but I think Foster is not a consideration at 10 for us. Positional value, the incident at the Combine or not sure he's there? Quote
H2o Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Positional value, the incident at the Combine or not sure he's there? I think McDermott is legit on player character. There were things about Foster before the combine that were sketchy apparently and then the incident at the hospital happened. I just don't believe he fits with what we're trying to build. Just an opinion and a gut feeling. No "sources deep within" or anything like that. Quote
