NextYearGuys Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 He went undrafted because of his size, but this dude is a baller. Incredible instincts, athleticism, blitz ability, and tackling. I think if he can put on a little weight, he can become one of the steals of the draft. Love that we got him.
Fixxxer Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 He could become a version of what Bryan Scott was for us a couple of years back. A hybrid LB/S that also contributes to special teams. This defense could use a guy like that.
26CornerBlitz Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Tyler Dunne did a pre-draft piece on Striker: http://bills.buffalonews.com/2016/04/21/lb-eric-striker-interesting-linebacker-draft/
White Linen Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I like him at the weight he is and let him play strong safety. I've read a lot on how the strong safety in todays NFL is often asked to play certain linebacker roles - so to me he's that. I don't see him as a linebacker or edge pass rusher.
Tortured Soul Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 According to NFL.com, he's "missing the sand in his pants." Apparently, that's a bad thing.
jumbalaya Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 According to NFL.com, he's "missing the sand in his pants." Apparently, that's a bad thing. I thought that was a feature more important for the o-line
FluffHead Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Pretty sure what made him good in college was his pass rush ability. Not sure that would translate to safety
John from Riverside Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Its the same concern as with Cravens.......Striker is a hybrid. If he has good instincts he can play that subpackage guy

I don't see him as a linebacker or edge pass rusher.I don't think he has the speed to play DB, I think his only bet is to put on some weight and be a pass rush specialist of some type.
Augie Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 According to NFL.com, he's "missing the sand in his pants." Apparently, that's a bad thing. I just got off a boat in Florida and spent an hour or so on a sand bar. I can confirm sand in your pants can be unpleasant. Now I need a nap.

White Linen Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I don't think he has the speed to play DB, I think his only bet is to put on some weight and be a pass rush specialist of some type. Then I don't see him making the team.

Really good kid...Happy he's going to get his chance with my team... agree, Glad Bills are giving him the shot. I would be pleased to see it work out somehow. But this is the NFL and only so many players can be on out team
