D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 May have gotten the most physically gifted QB in the draft, and he has a career 62% comp.
Mark80 Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Great pick considering what we have already done. I could not imagine a better draft scenario than what has played out for us.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 it's official Whaley has no clue how to pick QBs
Bangarang Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 When you watch him, the thing that pops out to me the most is his impressive arm strength.
Kelly the Dog Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 This is the guy I wanted. Would have been stupid to piss off Tyrod. He has the most upside. Definitely did not want Cook or launch that high. The other guys after the third had too many limitations. I'm not predicting anything as far as if he will be a good or bad or mediocre NFL QB, but this is what they should have done this year to address the QB situation.
YoloinOhio Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 (edited) He is a damn fine fit for Greg Roman's offense and coaching, in terms of development as a project QB. Perfect QB pick IMO. Battle it out with EJ in camp for backup role this year and hopefully assume backup role next year. Edited April 30, 2016 by YoloinOhio

Yo no se Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Big potential, big arm, has the opportunity here to sit and learn.
GunnerBill Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Worth the gamble at that pick. I would not have picked him any earlier.... but I am good with that pick.
Blokestradamus Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I'm fine with the value. They were hell bent on a QB, didn't reach, let the board come to them.
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 He is a damn fine fit for Greg Roman's offense and coaching Whaley and the boys are rockin it.
Fixxxer Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I think this is a good value for him and the potential that could bring.
