Sub-package guy that will rush on 3rd downs. A bit early for my tastes, maybe they have some bigger plan in mind for him (at least I hope they do).

This was a bit of a letdown. I like Adolphus, but he's situational, and light for the D their running. Felt their was Off playmakers available

Which offensive playmaker wouldn't also be 'situational'?

@MatthewFairburn

Doug Whaley thinks Adolphus Washington can play 5-tech and nose tackle.

Well...Doug's the NFL GM so what do I know?... :lol:

I would say Nose is a bit of a stretch...I do think he can play the 5...

I like the pick...We need players we can mix in and get pressure...One thing that I think is 100% certain with the picks of Lawson and Washington...Dareus, KW, and Hughes just got help... B-)

I don't mind this pick as much as some of you guys, the disappointing thing to me is it seems like Whaley is OK with Dareus as a NT.

might thoughts as well, perhaps better value, bigger opportunity with this pick. we both watch the bucks play. we know his value.

i would have much rather waited until the 4th and hoped to get willie henry, who will essentially be just as much a rotational player at dt/nt.

I love Willie Henry!

GO BLUE!!!... :D

I agree. Dareus is too good to just eat space. But looks like they will be lining up all over, which makes sense in a Rex D.

Depends on the players around him. Not saying he will excel now but looking at how Mario have up give a bit of hope for the inside game.
