snafu Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 (edited) Has anyone asked Darryl Talley how he feels about this pick? I'd like to get his reaction. Edited April 30, 2016 by snafu
26CornerBlitz Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 @SiriusXMNFL .@buffalobills new LB @reggieragland tells us that he has always wanted to play for Rex Ryan, ever since he was a kid.
BaaadThingsMan Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 @BuffaloBillsPR The @buffalobills have now added the ACC Defensive Player of the Year (Shaq Lawson) & the SEC Defensive Player of the Year (Reggie Ragland). This says it all. Two studs coming to shut motha !@#$as down and break *marsha. !@#$ yeah Bills!!!!!!!
Big C Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 The more I listen to Mayock the more credibility I think he has Mayock? Dude's always been my favorite draft analyst. Great insights.
KD in CA Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Yeah dude Shaq and Ragland fell to us im psyched. just dont know if it was worth two 4th round picks for it tho. But....you wanted him in the first. So that means you don't think a first round pick is worth a 2d and two fourths?
Peter Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 FWIW Gil Brandt had Reggie Ragland as the 18th best player: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000652753/article/hot-100-40-laremy-tunsil-is-top-prospect-in-2016-nfl-draft
CSBill Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Glad to see two big people picked, from big time programs, with lots of accolades, and who know how to win.
KD in CA Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Secretariat also had an enlarged heart. And the Grinch.
Beerball Posted April 30, 2016 Author Posted April 30, 2016 Yeah dude Shaq and Ragland fell to us im psyched. just dont know if it was worth two 4th round picks for it tho. Unless you know that Ragland would have been available at 49 then how can you say he fell to us? You preferred Ragland over Lawson or you thought Lawson would be gone by 19? If it's the latter you CANNOT be disappointed in how this draft has worked out. 2 4th round picks...BFD.
Marty McFly Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Reed did not look happy to get picked up by Seattle. Whats up with that? Thats the best Defense to learn, get mentored, and get better in, in the whole league! ^This. Given Ozzie Newsome's Alabama ties and his propensity to draft LBs early, especially those with first round grades, I think there was a strong possibility that the Ravens were at least interested. And I have always subscribed to the idea that if you really like a guy and trust your board, then go and get him. GO BILLS!!! True. I had no idea he had other suitors and Ozzie is good at drafting so that makes sense. Our Defense just got better by 2 overall points with our 1st 2 picks (Madden Speak) Great value, immediately upgrades lb group One Word stands out to me that we were all begging for on defense last year: LEADERSHIP. Dude, calm down.... According to Rapoport all RR needs is an annual EKG and to watch his weight. And I believe one of the 4ths was a compensatory if I am not mistaken. That's how you use your chips. Don't forget Alabama runs a legit pro-style defense. I got a degree in EKG, if it only has to be monitored then its nothing to worry about. The guy is a football player always doing cardio reps hes gonna be ok. I'm with you on that. Maybe he's the next Sammy, three picks well spent. Sammy is so underrated. all my friends who are NOT Bills fans downplay him so much. Then I laugh when he schools the Revis in the jets games.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 FWIW Gil Brandt had Reggie Ragland as the 18th best player: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000652753/article/hot-100-40-laremy-tunsil-is-top-prospect-in-2016-nfl-draft What the hell does Gil Brandt know?
Peter Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Secretariat also had an enlarged heart. . . . unlike the guy who now plays for Miami.
BaaadThingsMan Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Who is our NT again? We gonna waste Dareus there? Or Kyle?patience, this draft is deep in those. They'll get one
billykaykay Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 But....you wanted him in the first. So that means you don't think a first round pick is worth a 2d and two fourths? I think they traded up because they thought that Oakland was going to take him.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 @LedyardNFLDraft I mocked Ragland to Buffalo in the 2nd this morning. What a great pick. Tremendous run of talent coming off the board. Buffalo is killing it
BuffaninATL Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 you don't want to trade up for a LB but you will for a K...and in the 3rd round? Exactly my thoughts Nucci .... So glad someone calling for us to move up to take a K in the 3rd is NOT our GM
KD in CA Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I think they traded up because they thought that Oakland was going to take him. I think he likely would have been gone if they'd stayed put. I don't have a problem with that trade up.
