The Bills need to draft a Gronk Buster, someone to match up with Gronk. Cravens or Bell fits the Bill.

No one in the NFL can match up with Gronk. Doubt any of these kids can.

Still, the Bills desperately need LBs.

Unfortunately no one matches up with Gronk. Especially not day 2 and beyond guys.

Agreed and there is no need to over draft guys in hopes they can break the trend. Denver put a hurting on the Pats little WR's and that seemed to slow them down. TJ Ward and Stewart played downhill, having a pass rush helps of course. I wouldn't chase Patriot specific players I'd continue building an aggressive defense and make sure I have players on the field that fit. IMO a guy like Billings and a hard hitting safety would be as valuable as one of these guys we are hoping can chase around Gronk.

@dpbrugler

There is a ton of action right now w/ the #Browns No. 32 pick. They'll have to LOVE a player there not to accept one of these offers.

Trade next years 1st and 5th for the Browns 2nd and 3rd this year. Turn this division upside down in one draft.

Rounds 2-3 mock (via @LanceZierlein) 38. #Jaguars: Myles Jack 51. #Jets: Connor Cook FULL: http://on.nfl.com/26B1Cmc

PICK 49

BUF.png

Jonathan Bullard - DE, Florida

Not a sexy pick, but has the ability to play along the line of scrimmage and can get to the other side of the line.

80. Buffalo Bills: Roberto Aguayo, K, Florida State (They won't do it IMO)

Bullard is a tough call...He's good...Especially vs the Run...But he does not have much positional flexibility...And I'm not sure if he's a 5 tech in a 3-4...I guess he could play there...But he's not ideal...He's best suited to that under tackle position in a 4-3...He's a one-gapper...Good player though... B-)

PFT mock has the Bills trading up for Connor Cook. What would you guys think about that? I wouldn't hate it but I think theres so many good players left that can help right away

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/04/29/pfts-second-round-mock-draft-2/

we dont trade up here unless we dont think TT will likely be the guy. id even be surprised without trading up. 3rd to 4th is the likely jumping off point for "lets get our backup"

my opinion is if we trade up its a big sign of what they think of TT -- and if they arent sold on him, then im ok trading up.

kind of what they do tells the story of what needs to be done there.

The board fell perfectly for us yesterday, way to much value in positions of need to be screwing around trading up for a QB who may or may not have a higher ceiling then TT. That's a panic move, no need to panic with this board laid out like this.

Cook is extremely inconsistent, disappears in the biggest games, and was rumored to be hated by teammates (I mean, one of the top college QBs that was a 3 year starter and still not a Captain? That says a lot to me). Add to that his completion percentage was below 60% (and regressed to 56.1% last year) and you have all the makings of a clipboard holder for his entire career. I don't know how anyone can see it any different. I would be pretty upset if he was our pick. But hey, he's looked great against powerhouses like Indiana and Rutgers so what do I know, right?

Here is what I think about it. Wasted pick and even worse if we trade up for him.

I challenge anyone to find me a current top level franchise QB that didn't have a higher than 60% completion rate in college. I can't find any.

Paxton to Braxton?

@cecillammey

sources tell me #Broncos have shown more interest in WR Braxton Miller than any other team in #NFLdraft - we'll see if they add him today.

Probably like his versatility to be a backup QB because their only QB's are Mark Sanchez and Paxton Lynch lol

Myles Jack can...seriously

Yes, Yes, Yes!! Someone finally says it. We need Myles to beat the Pats in the next couple years. Git r done please DW.

The explosive pre-injury Jack certainly could.

@mikerodak

Just because @TyDunne loves mock drafts, @MuenchESPN and Kevin Weidel did another. Kamalei Correa to Bills at 49: https://t.co/J8LPk4h70d

Can't see this at all after taking Lawson.

This either. They'll wait to take Cardale or another project no sooner than round 3, probably round 4 or later.

puke

too many p;layers left on the board that can play now..

Cook has accuracy issues. I never want a QB that can not demonstrate accuracy throughout college

You could be right. I'm not convinced that our S position isn't still one of the weakest spots on the team.

I could see Rex and the Bills going back to Clemson and selecting TJ Green or Kearse later in the draft. Both are bigger safeties

This. Although id like to see us pick up Ragland and Jack and get Reader in the 4th along w an OL. I think getting Lawson, Jack, Ragland and Reader. Would be a win

If we are smart we could just nail this draft in this round by getting 2 #2s to grab a DT and LB and still keep our picks for next year. I get the depth factor but honestly a mid round OL, Safety or WR isn't going to make or break us.

If Aaron Williams has a neck issue a 3rd or 4th round safety isn't going to fix that this year, if Tyrod gets injured or sucks, Connor Cook, Jones, or any other QB won' save us; same with a RG or RT. Ragland, Reed (or other DT) and Lawson will make the D instantly better.

Nope. We ride this out with TT this year. Fail safe if he blows is to trade next year to move up. Honestly fix the D this year...
