eball Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Shaq says he does NOT need shoulder surgery. Said Schefter is FOS. The first statement I'll take Shaq's word for. Already knew the second.
3rdand12 Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Lawson had 0 sacks 7 tackles half of which were tackles for loss. pressures
SDS Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 He would have had at least one Can't believe how clumsy he is. He just fell down.
TheFunPolice Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Shaq will have from early February 2017 until August or so, which should be plenty of time if he needs surgery
CommonCents Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Schefter is full of hot air. I'm sure Brady and McNally can help him out with that. Sounds like Shaq's shoulder is something teams found in the e v a l's but it was something that wasn't affecting his play. I remember two quick sacks vs. Bama before he aggravated his knee injury.
YoloinOhio Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 He's a great attitude, vocal leader type guy. He really is a great fit in many ways. I can't wait for the poster ClemsonBills to chime in.

26CornerBlitz Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 @mikerodak Shaq Lawson said he spoke to Shaquille O'Neal, who he's named after, recently. The elder Shaq gave him advice on... http://es.pn/1XXyAY4
Joe Miner Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Can't believe how clumsy he is. He just fell down. He's top heavy with that thick upper body.
3rdand12 Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 (edited) Lawson is going to be a quality player for us long term. Lets not pick nits. Kid is brutal and will develop Edited April 29, 2016 by 3rdand12
Coach Tuesday Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Limited athleticism. Not a pass rusher. Locker room leader but a JAG athlete. The Rex connection kills me. I'm depressed. 1
K-9 Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 He would have had at least one He has, I dare say, a Bruce-like spin move. He flashes that move a lot. GO BILLS!!!
Beerball Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 So what the !@#$ is Schefter talking about? Probably turned up at the combine I'm guessing.
boyst Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 You're in 4-man front most of the time anyway, so we needed a 2nd edge rusher to line up at DE opposite Hughes. The fact that he has a big body and is powerful, can 2 gap and set the edge against the run = cha ching. I think its a perfect fit and love this pick. ryan doesn't rush the edge...
26CornerBlitz Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 4-28: DOUG WHALEY PRESS CONFERENCE AFTER DRAFTING SHAQ LAWSON (6:53)
YoloinOhio Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 mario had to lay down and take a nap after watching that play
3rdand12 Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 He's top heavy with that thick upper body. or he got tackled by the tackle
LOVEMESOMEBILLS Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 I'm excited about the pick just worried about the shoulder Edit: saw the above post after I posted. Sounds like less of a big deal than the commentators were letting on Shoulders are no big deal now a days. I've had 3 shoulder surgeries 2 on the right one on the left. Each shoulder has been cut to the bone and right shoulder needed 250 stitches to reattach muscle and such. Right shoulder had a 1 1/2 " tear in the labrum and a torn capsule. I have almost 100% mobility and have never been stronger. They were all performed in the late 90's and I rarely even think about them I have no pain whats so ever.
