CommonCents Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Second that Whether you realize it or not.....most realists ARE entrenched in one end of the spectrum Realist : a person who uses facts and past events rather than hopeful feelings and wishes to predict the future. Shaq's out we can continue our view points another time.
Kirby Jackson Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Hes undergoing shoulder surgery tomorrow. It sounds like eMoulds was right again
eball Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Self-Proclaimed Realist : a person who uses facts and past events skewed by his own perspective rather than hopeful feelings and wishes to predict the future. Shaq's out we can continue our view points another time. Edited for accuracy. Hes undergoing shoulder surgery tomorrow. It sounds like eMoulds was right again Now the only question is recovery time...
Doc Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 eMoulds is the man. And so much for SL making an impact this season. He'll arguably miss the most critical period of his career.
26CornerBlitz Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 @SalSports Any timetables suggested for Shaq Lawson's return are speculative right now. Team won't know until after procedure is done. @RapSheet With surgery Tues, Shaq Lawson appears headed to the PUP list to start camp and potentially the regular season. Should correct it long-term
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Well, the good news is this: I checked out recovery times for the surgery: according to John's Hopkins orthopedics, even the more conservative estimates for a labrum recovery is 12 weeks. That would put Lawson back around the start of pre season. Maybe he doesn't start week 1, but we have Manny to fill the gap in the meanwhile.
26CornerBlitz Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 @viccarucci This is a major embarrassment for Whaley, Rex Ryan & #Bills football decision-makers. Plenty of questions to answer for ownership!
Dorkington Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Glad it's getting done early, but a little disappointed with our 'research' that determined his shoulder to not be an issue of concern.

Good ol' Vic. Embarrassment? Really? I'm not going to go back and look at quotes, but didn't the Bills acknowledge it may have to be done at some point in time? Edited May 16, 2016 by eball
3rdand12 Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Kudos to eMoulds, even if I had to drag it from him, kicking and screaming. Indeed. he was painfully correct.

I'm not going to go back and look at quotes, but didn't the Bills acknowledge it may have to be done at some point in time? Yeah but the thinking is he'd play his rookie season and have surgery at the end of it, allowing enough time to recover so he didn't miss camp, much less pre-season, much much less the regular season.

But better to get it over with now.
4BillsintheBurgh Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Kudos to eMoulds, even if I had to drag it from him, kicking and screaming. Is that really what you did? Thank goodness for you.

26CornerBlitz Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 @ProFootballDoc David J. Chao, MD Retweeted BillsMafia Typically minimum 4 month recovery. Definite PUP, hoping for quick recovery to make Week 1, possible to miss games.
