New Bloomberg Poll:

Clinton 49

Trump 37

But the real story here is Johnson 9

Go Gary!

There seems to be a discrepency in recent polls (online and exit) being waaaay off the actual results. Some voters (mostly democrat) are yelling election fraud.

How many polled can actually name those policies?

People associate the political policy by which candidate supports it.

Everything coming out of Trump is Conservative, and everything out of Hilary is Liberal.

I still don't understand how government expenditures managed to go up during the shutdown. That's like my car using more gas when it's off.

The federal budget increases every year, and during shut downs, only non-essential services are suspended. Those that perform those non-essential services all eventually get paid, as far as I know. Those shut downs are mostly just for show.

1) because the government doesn't really "shut down." A hell of a lot of people and projects are deemed "essential," and continue working.

2) Overtime.

3) bull **** accounting practices.

Whoever wins ,the loser will be the American people

The poll found 11 percent of people in the United States approve of Congress,
It just keeps getting worse

I bet the numbers are higher for individual congresscritters.

Take my representative, Charlie Dent. Good guy, everyone here loves him even tho PA is a blue state.

But the lot of congress AS A WHOLE blows sheep.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one that believes that my rep (van Hollen) is part of the problem.

Mine is Ed Royce, and literally no one can argue he's part of the problem. An absolute stand-up guy and one of the few reasons Sgt. Tahmooresi was ever released from Mexico.

The Congressional approval rating is horribly low because Republican voters don't like the Dems in office and the Democrat voters don't like the Repubs in office so everyone has something not to like. The 11% that approve are lobbyists or others that don't know what Congress is.

Well Pat Toomey is kind of a jerkoff. I actually knew the guy before he became a senator. He owned a bar I used to frequent a lot.

So there's that.

And that is why of 435 representatives, only about 35 are in contested elections. Everyone thinks their guy is a "stand up guy" and the other guys suck. Wake up 'merica: They are ALL part of the problem.

The most secure job in the world is to be an incumbent member of Congress.

To be fair, when I moved to MD, van Hollen was reasonable. I didn't agree with him (probably disagreed more often than not), but his positions were supported by cogent, coherent arguments that you could at least discuss. Then the financial crisis happened, and he went all stupid-ignorant and rode the whole "bailouts for the rich" populist propaganda wave to a position of party leadership. Couldn't rightly support the !@#$tard after that.

That's really all I ask: have positions, support them, listen to and respect opposing positions. Do that, I'll vote for you. But you wanna be a partisan snipe, then !@#$ you. I'd rather have a good person I disagree with in office, than a shitbag I agree with.

(And sadly, I'm in a very small minority in that regard.)

But if it's Trump, we're in yuge trouble.

One candidate is bought and sold and the ultimate product of the political and socialist-policy driven system. The other is stupid and plays to people's anger at the system using hatred and sound bytes. Both are the result of a largely uninformed electorate.

RCP: 45/39 in favor of Clinton

PPP: 60/40 in favor of Trump

TCP 84% response

Your poll did not have the option for neither. That 60% for Trump is predominately Not Hiliary.
