Kirby Jackson Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 That is accurate. jw JW, any prediction on the player? It seems like steam growing for Reed at 19
Delete This Account Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 JW, any prediction on the player? It seems like steam growing for Reed at 19 no names, too many possibilities, including trade-down option to pin things down. jw
Fadingpain Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 A trade-down will be a bit of a letdown the moment it happens, but it could prove very fruitful in this year's draft.
Doc Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Defense makes the most sense. The Bills don't need a starting QB (until proven otherwise, not that they'll get one at 19), WR, RB, TE, LT, LG, or C, and you don't take a RG (although I'm looking for Miller to take a step forward this) or RT that high.
GG Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 no names, too many possibilities, including trade-down option to pin things down. jw as long as it's not a trade up
thebandit27 Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Makes sense to get this out there if the team wants to be able to trade down with a team wanting a QB--now they know they don't have to get ahead of Buffalo.
ndirish1978 Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Thanks for the info JW. This confirms my hope that we would stick to D in the first couple of rds
26CornerBlitz Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Most logical way to go given the needs and hopefully they can facilitate a trade down before making their 1st selection.
4merper4mer Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 We are in a position where we will need to have our top picks spent on defense. Cuz. Rex. Sux.
LeGOATski Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Makes sense. I'd like them to stay at 19 and take BPA. Trading down is risky and they'll just be getting a weaker player, in theory. Taking the best LB at 19 and a DL in the 2nd seems like a great scenario to me.
Beerball Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 A trade-down will be a bit of a letdown the moment it happens, but it could prove very fruitful in this year's draft. A trade down would get me more excited than anyone they will likely have a choice of at 19. This team needs an influx of new players, the more the merrier.
Augie Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 We are in a position where we will need to have our top picks spent on defense. Cuz. Rex. Sux. Was it really just one year ago our defense was viewed as a strength? It seems like a lifetime.... Hmmm, what's changed to create this nightmare?
eball Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 We are in a position where we will need to have our top picks spent on defense. Cuz. Rex. Sux.
QB Bills Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 (edited) We are in a position where we will need to have our top picks spent on defense. Cuz. Rex. Sux. Such a bummer. With a pre-rex defense we could have drafted a right tackle, which I feel is our only real glaring weakness in terms of talent. Edited April 27, 2016 by QB Bills
Dr. Who Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 I hope he is wrong, because I think Lynch has a chance to be really good and I am not sold on Tyrod. It would make sense, of course.
Beerball Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 While you will get killed for being so negative. It's the truth. Defense went from a luxury to a need in one year. Thanks to our genius head coach. Yes, but, we're about to become fully pregnant.
KOKBILLS Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 That is accurate. jw Could not possibly agree more... And I know on this board that may come as a complete shock to you...
