thebandit27 Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 All of whom are on to their 2nd (BIG) contract except Watkins who was expensive in his own right (trading away a first to get him) Huh? Watkins/Darby/Gilmore/Taylor are all still on their 1st contracts. Sure, that'll change in the next little while here, but what you want as an organization is to have your top 6-7 players as your highest-paid guys, and have them in their prime when they're making the biggest amount.
Kirby Jackson Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 (edited) All of whom are on to their 2nd (BIG) contract except Watkins who was expensive in his own right (trading away a first to get him)Except Tyrod, Darby, the rookies and Watkins are still on their 1st deal. I didn't count Gilmore but technically he is as well. The point is that the best players are young and signed. A win now team was Denver last year, New England now, or the Saints for the last few years, teams that have a closing window. The Jaguars are an ascending team but the Bills should be too, just a couple of years ahead in the process. They don't have bad contracts or a 38 year-old franchise QB. They should contend for the foreseeable future. Edited May 9, 2016 by Kirby Jackson

26CornerBlitz Posted May 9, 2016 Author Posted May 9, 2016 Myles Jack's knee feels fine, but the pain from his draft-night fall still stings Jags rookie says he was 'robbed with no gun' and that he's never getting the money back.
