CommonCents Posted April 22, 2016 Author Posted April 22, 2016 Still po'd Miami back out. Watkins would absolutely torch him 2x a year. He's not a #1/cover guy like a talib or Sherman. Simply is not in their league. Yeah I'm sure Sammy is heart broken that Norman isn't coming to the division.
YoloinOhio Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 @rapsheet #Redskins sent the plane to pick up Josh Norman. 1. Private planes are cool. 2. Makes it much tougher to actually leave without a contract 🛩
thebandit27 Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Yeah I'm sure Sammy is heart broken that Norman isn't coming to the division. At least he still gets to have his way with Byron Maxwell.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 @JasonColeBR Aside from #Redskins & #49ers, #Jaguars, #Bucs and 1 more team remain strongly in running for CB Josh Norman, source said. In Washington now

In Washington now I am a little surprised atlanta or Tampa not looking at him. In the division they know him. And he would be an upgrade for both. If he was 33 and just injured than new Orleans would be all over him

If he was 33 and just injured than new Orleans would be all over him "They know him".... That's the key right there. They know he's nothing special and not worth the money.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 @AdamSchefter As CB Josh Norman is with Redskins, Saints are making strong push to sign him, per sources. Decision down to Redskins and Saints.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 @RapSheet Josh Norman is signing with the #Redskins
Blokestradamus Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Bloody hell. @RapSheet Josh Norman's 5-year, $75M deal with the #Redskins includes $50M in guarantees, source said. Wow.

Chilly Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) Ugh. Gilmore is a better all-around CB than Norman too. This sucks. Edited April 23, 2016 by Chilly

Doc Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 @AdamSchefter As CB Josh Norman is with Redskins, Saints are making strong push to sign him, per sources. Decision down to Redskins and Saints. The Saints? Didn't they have to create $22M in cap space just to get below it just a few months ago?
Maury Ballstein Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) Httr. Now the Redskins can embarrass the Bills again. Now we get Norman vs Beckham 2x a year. Edited April 23, 2016 by Ryan L Billz
vincec Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) Crazy deal for Norman. $50 million guaranteed? Lol. Imagine the kind of season he would need to justify that in everyone's mind. I think his chances of not being viewed a free agent bust are pretty low. Edited April 23, 2016 by vincec
Mark Vader Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 I will face the flames but no way I'm giving Gilmore anything close to 50 mil guaranteed. No way. Holy Crap! We need to keep Gilmore, but $50 million guaranteed is an eyesore.
truth on hold Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Httr. Now the Redskins can embarrass the Bills again. Now we get Norman vs Beckham 2x a year. He'll get torched. No more threatening with bats pregame, no more body slamming or rabbit punching. Refs will be all over this matchup which favors the offensive player.
NoSaint Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 The Saints? Didn't they have to create $22M in cap space just to get below it just a few months ago? How many times will I have to explain to you that single year cap space isn't a great indicator of what a team can spend?
YoloinOhio Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 @albertbreer Per source, Josh Norman's five-year, $75 million deal has $36.5 million fully guaranteed at signing. Not far off from Darrelle Revis.
