26CornerBlitz Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 @MaryKayCabot #Browns Sashi Brown knows he may have passed on franchise QB, but felt bounty was worth it -& might trade down again https://t.co/CAnolPokuQ
DrDawkinstein Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Sam Bradford reportedly very mad about Eagles trading for No. 2 pick http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/philadelphia-eagles-sam-bradford-mad-trade-nfl-draft-no-2-pick-042016 LOL. Shut up, Sam.

Nanker Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Dude has made so much coin for such little output. One of the last to cash in on the old system pre-wage scale. The Draft used to be a free for all where 1st rounders made huge coin, and many of the top picks were total busts. The Rookie wage scale makes a lot of sense.

boater Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 I fully expect the Browns to move down again. That would be very Bilichekian of them. (Hey, they have: Freudian, Sun Tzusian, Clausewitzian. Bilichekian works also)
billsfan89 Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 The trade downs seem to work for every team except the Browns. I am pretty sure the Browns would like to have Sammy Watkins and Julio Jones instead of the players they drafted with those trade downs. So while I think the Eagles gave up a solid price for pick 2 it's not as though they completely !@#$ed themselves that much. This year they lose a 3rd and 4th, next year they give up their 1st, and the year after a 2nd. That's not a complete bankrupting of picks for that trade up and the Eagles desperately need a QB. While the Browns still get to pick at slot number 8 and they get 2 good picks later in the draft at pick 77 and 100, then they set themselves up with an extra 1st next year and an extra 2nd the year after. For a team looking to rebuild they get quantity this year and quality the two years after that should set them up nice for the long haul while still getting a good player this year.

Saxum Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Report: Sam Bradford upset that the Eagles traded with the Browns Is he upset enough that he will waive the guaranteed salary to allow a trade? No. Then he is not very upset.
BarleyNY Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 (edited) https://mobile.twitter.com/JoshNorris/status/722440498212904960 In case you were wondering which QB was going to LA and which was going to Philly, this looks pretty definitive...... Edited April 22, 2016 by BarleyNY

BarleyNY Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 He'll get over it and will be with a new team in 2017. He's got a hundred million reasons to get over it.

Mark Vader Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 @NFLonCBS Report: Sam Bradford likely to ask Eagles for a trade out of Philadelphia. http://cbsprt.co/1pq49Oj  Is he willing to take a pay cut?
ALF Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Eagles just gave him a $11M signing bonus. If he gives that back , don't let the door hit you on the way out Sam.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 @AndrewBrandt From this week: Eagles (and Rams) sacrifice short-term infrastructure for long-term QB. They better be right: https://t.co/F0zRBzKoCz
