Yard Monkey Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 A lot of stuff on Mularkey: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=cnns...cnnsi&type=lgns Including the double or single wing!?! "I was watching our wideout, Bobby Shaw, throwing the ball in practice the other day, just goofing around," Mularkey says. "I asked him, 'You ever play quarterback?' He said, 'Why?' I told him, 'Just curious.'
stevestojan Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 ok, so if we blow away the competition in weeks 1 and 2, we always have a "gilbride out" to make sure we !@#$ things up in week 3... good to know
LabattBlue Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 Were MM and TC with Pittsburgh during Shaws tenure there??
nick in* england Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 Wait - this was not Shaw that was asked the question. It was a UD FA WR - someone like Jerel Myers or something...
nick in* england Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 But I love the fact that we may see the Bills running some single wing... Hope we see some of the Spin series offence - that stuff is great to watch!!
Smoker2Buffalo Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 Wait - this was not Shaw that was asked the question. It was a UD FA WR - someone like Jerel Myers or something... 970 It was probably Jonathan Smith. In college, he has lined up as a QB, RB, and a WR.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 Wait - this was not Shaw that was asked the question. It was a UD FA WR - someone like Jerel Myers or something... 970 Yes it was Shaw. Look at the quote above. And the other player was Jonathan Smith, and Mularkey made the comment that he might make the team based on his ability to throw the ball.
Guest Guest Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 Of course it was Shaw Mularkey already knows Smith did some QBing.
