3rdand12
I agree on Doctson...And I'm aware of the Bills depth at WR...But I don't think it's as bad as some do...They have a premier NFL WR they gave up two 1st Round picks to get...Woods may not be the best #2 WR...but he's not the worst either...I think they feel out of Hankerson, Boykin, and Little one will stick and contribute...Lewis is 6-4 and has his Rookie year behind him...He's still at OBD...So the Bills see something in him...And I know the Bills will Draft a WR somewhere in this Draft...If Doctson is there at #49 then I'm definitely listening...But I simply want to remind Bills fans of this...If a WR is taken in the 1st Round that's three 1st Round picks in three years on two WR's...It's stupid... I'm not a big Cook guy...And especially not in the 1st Rd...There's another thread in here somewhere that details my opinion on Cook and QB's who do not hit 60% completions in at least one of their years as a Starter in College...Cook never hit 59%...Folks can say what they want about Cook...And I realize he's got some good traits...But if he becomes a Top 10 QB in this league he will be bucking some SERIOUS odds based on his College stats...Hackenberg too...Hackenberg just scares me to be honest...My guess is the Bills are going to roll the dice and take Cardale Jones in the 3rd Round... As for #19 I'm a Chris Jones guy...That's who I want...If he's there (assuming Sheldon Rankins is gone) and the Bills pass on him...Well...I would not be thrilled...I think that kid has super-star potential...I'm not saying I would "Haloti Ngata freak out" again...But it would be similar... Bills will not pass on D quality like Jones for Treadwell or Doctson for a rec, IMHO . really depend on what happens before Bills pick and if they can trade back
ChanOverChin
To me, any Bills draft that doesn't include a QB by R4 is a lousy draft. If you look at the status of Buffalo's current roster, QB stands out as a big need, esp. with Taylor and Manuel in the last year of their contracts. The moves that Whaley has made this off season scream that he is planning to take a QB in this year's draft as a high priority. Pass rusher, QB, ILB and even WR are all big needs. I'd like to see the Bills trade down in R1 to obtain and extra R2 pick the they could go: R1 - DE R2 - ILB R2 - QB R3 - NT R4 -WR R4 - DT.
KOKBILLS
I have said this all along I would take Billings with my 19 and not look back You could do so many things with our DL with him working next to Marcel and of course....Meatball is probably gone after this next year I'd take Chris Jones over Billings all day and twice on Sunday...That does not mean I don't like Billings...But I think Jones can do a lot of what Billings can do and much, much, more...
