I think the latter will happen, but I think Rex's standing with the team is irreparably damaged. It's gonna be ugly. 5-11

It's gonna be ugly. 5-11 Winning cures everything and if the team can put some wins together while winning the first two the next won't hurt so badly. At 2-2 they can beat the Rams, Niners, and Phins to go 5-2. Then its the next three against NE, Seattle and Cincy that will cause grief. Now at 5-5 they could beat the Jags and lose to the Raiders @ Oakland 6-6. Lose to Pitt and beat Cleveland 7-7. With two division games to go against the Phins & Jets they end up 8-8.
