K D Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 if it's Wentz then we are trading Tyrod and our 2nd to get Goff right?
PromoTheRobot Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 @BuckyBrooks One last point for the @RamsNFL .. Fisher has a blueprint for young QB (McNair/Young).. Slow integration.. Lean on run game & D when ready Sound familiar?
turftoe Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 It will be Wentz at #1 I'm pretty bummed if I'm Cleveland, I think they really wanted Wentz. I would be surprised if they took Goff at #2. Maybe San Fran takes Goff. Philly could be in play. Remember, Tom Donahoe heads up their draft room and he moved up to pick the California kid for Buffalo. I don't think Goff fits the Buffalo QB mold. Small hands worry me in Buffalo weather.
ALF Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 The price to move up to RG3 and Wentz has put the price sky high for the #1 and 2 QB in a draft. Have to hope Taylor is the one, what a bargain he was.
thebandit27 Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 One under-stated trickle-down effect of this trade: If Wentz/Goff/Tunsil/Ramsey are the top 4, then it stands to reason that Jacksonville could take Bosa or Buckner, and drop Myles Jack right into Ozzie Newsome's lap. Imagine that.

Kirby Jackson Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 guess he has a new source today @nfldraftscout Multiple sources expect Jared Goff to be the #1 overall pick in the draft.

26CornerBlitz Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 @PFWeekly So, who is it going to be, #Rams? Goff scouting report: http://shawurl.com/2j0lWentz scouting report: https://t.co/DzAlD9dfrT

In which case you might trade down to someone trying to jump in for maybe ramsay or jack. Or threaten to take goff and see if the 49ers blink and offer something good. If you're dallas/jax - you're in great shape though. Bosa, Jack, buckner will all be there at 4/5. Edited April 14, 2016 by dneveu

The smart move is to sit at 2 and take your QB, but that's not the Cleveland way. They'll take Ramsey or Tunsil or trade out.
iinii Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 It is an insane trade in my opinion. It smacks of an act of desperation. Kroenke may be the new Dan Snyder.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 @AlbertBreer Had a number of evaluators tell me there's not a big difference b/w the 20th pick and the 50th pick this year. Titans at 15, 33, 43 and 45.

Looking at your team, you're years from being good. Why not wait and get the guy you want to build around? Trade back a few spots so someone can get ramsay, or tunsil, bosa, jack, or even Goff. Add some more picks and get some more players. The only problem is they have done this before and drafted guys like gilbert and manziel. So hopefully the new GM can actually make trading back turn into players.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 @theMMQB The Rams get the No. 1, but @Titans come away winners too. @SI_PeterKing on the trade http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2016/04/14/titans-rams-draft-trade-number-1-pick @AP_NFL WATCH: Titans deal No. 1 overall draft pick to LA Rams, GM Jon Robinson explains http://apne.ws/1SDf5j1 @teresamwalker

They don't have a GM, and they just fired most of their scouting staff. They are a mess right now. The only thing that's going to get them out of this jam is to get the most important position right. I get that they may not be huge on whichever guy the Rams don't take, but take the shot anyway IMO. There's no guarantee that the guy you want will be there next year...right now, however, you have a guaranteed shot that you're going to get one of the 2 top QB prospects in this class.
YoloinOhio Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 (edited) @nfldraftscout 1 - I would take Goff 2 - Everything I'm hearing says Goff will be the pick at #1 Edited April 14, 2016 by YoloinOhio
