No idea what to make of this rumor, other than it would make no sense unless the plan is to draft a QB

As to that, this year's QBs remind me so much of 2008...

Goff is the Matt Ryan

Wentz is the Joe Flacco

Maybe so in time, but 2016 NFL readiness is the problem. With the Bills dreams of postseason it does not add up.

The way to view it though is would you trade Tyrod, a 1st, a 2nd and next year's 3rd for rookie year Flacco or Ryan? That's what this ridiculous rumor would be.

I cannot participate in such prattle Kirby. I was just having a chuckle. with Mr Fancy pants 0:)

Defense is too screwed up to give up picks. Otherwise I'd be all for that trade. Thanks Rex

Rex took a statue of a swiss army knife and molded it into a fully pregnant block of clay which will now be molded back into a statue but some of the clay is missing and will need to be replaced with newer but cheaper clay. The new statue will be of a hammer so we had better hope every other team has a nail for an offense. It is not a normal hammer though. It is one that comes with a 427 page instruction manual.

With all of the things Rex has already broken and will likely continue to break, a first look would say they will need to keep all the picks. I think the possibility is remote, but it is possible that Whaley and Pegula realize Rex is a disaster that needs to be given one more year. Why not build for the future when you realize there are no viable options in the present? It could be the second management team in three years that realized it had to find a way to give Rex a push out the door. As soon as Rex was gone the Jets won 10 games with Fitz. Personally I don't like the QBs in this draft but someone will be better than Fitz.

If the Bills would really do this (which I doubt), one potential positive would be having a low cost starting QB for at least some period of time (assuming that the QB drafted was ready to play in his first or second year as a Bill).

It really is just insanity!! I actually think it's a good deal for Cleveland and Denver and a terrible deal for the Bills. Probably some Denver fan trying to find a QB.

It is awful...My cousin sent the rumor to me earlier today and my response was basically...That would seriously piss me off...And I'm far from the biggest TT fan...Though I like the kid...But #19, #49, a 3rd next year AND TT...to move up 17 spots?...No thanks...

On a side note I think it says a lot about what it's like to be a Bills Fan...at least what it's like for me as a Bills Fan of 45 some odd years now... when you read a rumor you're 99.9% sure is bull crap, but you're pissed because the fake trade make the Bills look stupid...

We saw last year that the Bills have no problem cutting their late round draft picks.

To that point, that may support trading those later round picks for a guy they feel confident would make the team in the mid rounds

They cut a couple that wound up back on the practice squad a couple days later. They seem to keep their draft picks around one way or another. I would love to see them trade down and get an extra second rounder. If they traded up into the top 10, which I doubt, but if they did, I wouldn't be expecting QB. I would expect Myles Jack. And it would be him haven fallen to nine or ten so it wouldn't cost as much to go get him. I could also see them trading up a few spots to get Shaq Lawson.

Instinct tells me the QB's they really like are in rounds 2-3. They are players with the same developmental time needed as the Goff's and Wentz's and Lynch's without the premium cost. The NFL makes everything fascinating and the draft is near the top of the list.

Deal is straight gahbage for the Bills. Whaley is a gambler, but he ain't stupid. This trade would be stupid. Unless they got a starting player also in the deal too, like Emanuel Sanders or Joe Thomas and a pick back as well.

This trade ain't happening anyway, so...
