In that desert heat, it would have to be a dome.

I have been to Vegas many times for the superbowl, the weather is actually perfect for football that time of year. Usually in the mid 60's, sunny. What more can you ask for?

I love how our team was possibly moving just over a year ago, and now a bunch of you on this forum are in favor of the Raider move to Vegas. As a Bills fan I can't support any relocation in good conscience. Aside from Jerry Jones there are few owners I respect less than the Davis family.

I agree but the Raiders are one of the few teams that really need a new stadium

In February it might be fine with no dome.

And how about the months of the regular season?

Not to mention the preseason in August.

They play football in Nevada at the High School and College levels. How bad could it be?

Not sure.

The Cardinals play in a state with similar weather conditions, and they play in a stadium with a retractable roof. The majority of the day games they play there, the roof is closed.

People complain that it gets too hot on the sunny side of the Ralph in September...

All the Raiders have to do is get on I-880 South, then take CA-237 West, and they will find a stadium that is just a couple of years old with a big "Levi's" sign on it.

BOOM! Problem solved.

Personally, I do not mind Vegas heat in the Summer, but Houston is unbearable when you factor in the extreme humidity.

Well obviously that would be hot without a dome. My guess is if they did build a stadium it would be a retractable dome.

Professional sports in a city that exists because of gambling. What could go wrong?

but man, how much fun would it be going there for a game. Casino's all night and go right to the game from there. Vegas is great.

Funny, it's all what you're used to I guess. I've gone to Vegas from steamy Florida and choked on the LACK of humidity. I had no idea there was such a thing as 4% humidity! I felt like I stuck my head in the oven to check on the Thanksgiving turkey!

It CAN be done, but don't try even giving me tickets to a day game before October with out a dome. Having said that, I've turned down Bucs tickets at the same time, and regretted buying tix in Jax for a Bills game. At one point we were the ONLY 2 people in our entire row. Everyone else was in the bar/concession area watching on little TV's in the AC.

Slot machines, tables, and a sports book IN THE STADIUM.

Maybe my memory is bad but I thought the Raiders could not sign high price FA s because they didn't have enough cash to put in escrow for huge guaranteed contracts ?

Now they have $500M for a new stadium and $550M relocation fee.

Still looks like a bluff to get a new stadium in Oakland.

How is this even an issue these days with the ability to gamble from any location in the world via the internet?
