YoloinOhio Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 I don't know why the Raiders & 49'ers refuse to share Levi's Stadium.right? It's basically like Jets/Giants at MetLife
jumbalaya Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 vegas is the perfect spot for the Raiders. Bills - Raiders game in Vegas and I am there.
Mr. WEO Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 it's like deja vu all over again  http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/184769-raiders-to-las-vegas/
billykaykay Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Not really much of a threat It is a threat - sort of. If the county & state contribute to the financing for a new stadium, the NfL will reward them with a Super Bowl. If not, no SB. Kind of a backwards threat.
ALF Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Mark Davis will reportedly commit to a Las Vegas move if stadium financing approved this week. This Thursday, Raiders owner Mark Davis will be attending a meeting with Las Vegas officials where they will discuss financing of a new stadium there. http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2016/4/25/11501446/2016-nfl-draft-trade-rumors-paxton-lynch-denver-broncos-jets-bills
BuffaloBill Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Correct. Buffalo is never getting a SB. This is not an indictment of Buffalo given I was born and raised there and my best weekend of the year is taking my boys to the game along with we made it up to 18 relatives going together this year. Â Guys in Tampa, we've had a bunch of SB and these corporate types are not going to Buffalo in February. Not in the Taj Mahal of dome stadiums. Besides for regular guys like us, who cares about a SB in your city. It clogs up traffic, your priced out of anything interesting, and simply not worth it. Â Buffalo doesn't have the hotels or the other parameters so this lure of a stadium is BS on getting a SB. Â Bottom line is we'll get a new stadium after the lease, and it will probably be down in the 1st ward, and linked into Pegulas other investments. Makes sense although I would hate not having the OP for tailgating. Well said....
iinii Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 right? It's basically like Jets/Giants at MetLife   I don't know why the Raiders & 49'ers refuse to share Levi's Stadium.  I would imagine Oakland has a little brother complex when it comes to the other city by the bay and has no desire to share anything with S.F. Raider fans are a different breed all together which only increases the animosity especially when you factor in the Niners were there first. The Niners probably consider themselves in a league of their own and don't won't little brother messing up their cool new digs anyway. In New Jersey they at least pretend to be New York teams.
Bakin Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 I was just in Vegas and my Uber driver was 100% certain the Raiders would be the Vegas Raiders by the end of this decade. So....it's a certainty.

That could be it. Â It's incredibly silly, but it wouldn't surprise me. Â Sharing Levi's Stadium would be the best and most logical option.

Davis will commit to any city that offers him a 1.3 billion stadium.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Â Â Â Not much news in that article. Davis will commit to any city that offers him a 1.3 billion stadium. Â Making a commitment to move from Oakland to Vegas. No big deal at all. Sure thing!
machine gun kelly Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 It is surprising Goodell and the owners are open to Vegas, but if so, and the city will build an incredible stadium for Davis, I don't see why not move there. Â Every city realizes what dolts they were about two years after they lose a team. Thankfully for the Chargers, they were creative on how they raised funds. The citizens basically have no tax hit as it is hotel tax increases basically for visitors. San Diego gets so many conventions, the corporate traveler pays the hit or specifically his company. I travel,a lot for work, and never ceases to maze me how many other hotel taxes are tacked onto the room rate in some cities. My company pays for it so nt a big deal to me, but it is substantial. Â Viva Las Raiders. It would be pretty cool to go to a Bills/Raiders game in Vegas. Of course, I would be so hung over by the time I made it to the game on Sunday. My liver hurts just thinking about it.
Mr. WEO Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Â Making a commitment to move from Oakland to Vegas. No big deal at all. Sure thing! Â He has been saying this for months. He was happy to go to LA as well. And San Antonio (recall "http://a.espncdn.com/combiner/i?img=/i/headshots/nfl/players/full/13197.png&w=350&h=254). Â In his own words..."We don't have a lease right now at the Oakland Coliseum," Davis said. "America, the world is a possibility for the Raider Nation." Â If San Antone called him up today and said we have complete financing for a new stadium right now, Davis would announce he was moving there.

Las Vegas would be their primary market, but its elements as one of the most popular destination points in America would be the magnet they use to draw in Raiders fans and season-ticket holders from across the country.  Is Las Vegas motorcycle gang friendly?
26CornerBlitz Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Report: Davis will commit Raiders to Vegas move if stadium is approved It's looking more and more like Las Vegas is the odds-on favorite to land the Raiders.
