Saxum Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 (edited) QBs retire, heal up and miss the NFL. Then they are lured out of retirement by teams who will let them skip training camp telling them they can get in shape by themselves and if they pass physical exam their contract is guaranteed. With amount of money being thrown around being for QBs which QB will pull the trigger and unretire to be "veteran presence" on team ready to take over if young starter fails? Matt Hassleback was QB of 2015 and Kyle Orton of 2016.. Jake 'the Snake' Plummer thought about it and i am thinking there were not enough dollars offered for him to complete the thought. Tipster19 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 (edited) Who is the master of unretiring? Brett Farve of course! Edited April 12, 2016 by Tipster19
K D Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Every time the Jets can't find a QB they call Vinny Testeverde. If Fitz wants to hold out then he better watch his back
Tipster19 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Who is the master of unretiring? Brett Farve of course! I was screwing around before when I said Farve but serious now I would be only mildly surprised if Jake Locker announced that he'd like to give it 1 more try. He's only 27 years old and after being away for 1 year maybe he could have a change of heart.
