26CornerBlitz Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 On the clock: How mobile quarterbacks are becoming mainstream By Chris BrownIt wasn't long ago that the term mobile quarterback meant a running signal caller who was limited as a passer. But with mobile QBs like Cam Newton and Russell Wilson proving themselves capable of making plays in the passing game and taking their teams to the Super Bowl, the mobile quarterback has become mainstream in the NFL and is now a coveted asset.
FireChan Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Yeah that Russel Wilson and Cam Newton guy are just becoming mainstream.
LeGOATski Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Does this mean they're going to extend Tyrod soon?
YoloinOhio Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Does this mean they're going to extend Tyrod soon?when John Murphy starts sporting a #TyrodTime t-shirt, you'll know it's coming
NoSaint Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 I mean, every position has seen guys reach insane physical feats while the mental side of the game has gotten much more advanced and player development starts much younger with more formal training. A 6'6 wr that runs sub 4.5 and runs the full route tree? Some of these freak pass rushers? And guys like cam newton. The exceptional nature of the skills and talent in the NFL is insane across the board when you stop to think of it.
