JoeF Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Was he a cut? How's our comp pick picture progressing? Untendered RFA...so no consequence on comp picks...
John from Riverside Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 At least they are pulling from a team that had good defensive players

NoSaint Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 At least they are pulling from a team that had good defensive players though they were under lovie smith who plays a 43, with a lot of classic tampa 2 zone techniques.
boyst Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Replacing starters for depth players is not really a step in the right direction. Let's hope we nail this draft. It should be a good chance to walk away with many needs filled with BPA talent.
JoeF Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 He's pretty stout 6'1" 256 but appears to have some cover skills. He intercepted 3 passes in 2014..including one off Brees for a pick 6...2 pick 6's. He's 30 years old -- played 3 years in the UFL and then started his NFL career over...

He's a pretty wonderful Fred Jackson-esque story and sounds like an easy guy to root for. He didn't make a roster until age 28 and promptly had that season you mention above. The only one that matters is Mario's production on paper that needs to be replaced.
K D Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Hes good in Madden football and we all know Whaley builds the team based on their Madden ratings
atlbillsfan1975 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 though they were under lovie smith who plays a 43, with a lot of classic tampa 2 zone techniques.Which could be why they didn't flourish?
gonzo1105 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Was he a cut? How's our comp pick picture progressing? We are at a net loss Bills gained: Zach Brown Sterling Moore Corey White Robert Blanton Bills lost: Nigel Bradham Ron Brooks But............... The only contract that is going to qualify that they have gained is Zach Brown So it's really 2 lose 1 gain so the Bills are in line for a 6th rounder next year at this moment

somnus00 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Seems like they're getting experienced, depth guys with some turnover ability.
ndirish1978 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Good story, we need LBs and it looks like Rex signed him at his lowest point, so it looks he'd be excited to be here
