hondo in seattle Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Standing = nostalgic but boring Charging = dynamic What is the standing buffalo doing? Chewing its cud? The charging buffalo looks powerful, exciting, maybe even dangerous.
BuffaloMatt Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 (edited) a money grab in '74? Yep. Big Business was still the same in 74. Lets see they just decided that they didn't like logo. Suit in front office said hey I got an idea. . . . Edited April 5, 2016 by BuffaloMatt
Peter Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 because you cannot have it both ways. That why. . . . but I like having it both ways.
Gugny Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 . . . but I like having it both ways. You and Beerball must get along famously.
ChasBB Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Option 3 - neither Dumbest logo in all of sports. The team's namesake (Buffalo Bill) hunted and killed the team's logo (the bison) for sport and we wonder why the team defeats itself on Sundays.
3rdand12 Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 . . . but I like having it both ways. : ) well have you cake and go ahead and eat it Option 3 - neither Dumbest logo in all of sports. xsoldier54 Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 a money grab in '74? What, they didn't have money back then?
stinky finger Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Week 1 vs. Indy. ^^^^^^^^Best Bills Uni^^^^^^^^^^ Why do we have to choose? I like both. No reason why we cannot use both. One mounting the other? The charging logo wins in a rout... Not according to the Quinnipiac poll.
chris heff Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 The standing bison is the only logo that won championships.
papazoid Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 which child is more attractive...... for me...the charging one....but I love them both. The animal that most Americans call a buffalo is actually a bison. Buffaloes are found in Africa and South Asia, while bison roam in North and South America. http://www.diffen.com/difference/Bison_vs_Buffalo
PromoTheRobot Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 I used to hate the standing Buffalo when I was young. I've come to appreciate its classic look, but I like the streak as well. #3 followed by #2 then #6#5 was the result of Ralph being cheap on a throwback weekend.

Buffalo Barbarian Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 charging no question, so are the red helmets.
eball Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 I voted charging. I totally dig the old standing bison but it's a pretty passive logo. In my opinion, having followed the Bills since the mid-70s I believe today's uniforms/helmets are the best the team has ever looked. Just need to get more Ws to go with it.
