2020 Our Year For Sure Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 I like the sound of this. Could keep us from being desperate in the draft and keep Manny Lawson out at SLB where he belongs.
3rdand12 Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 do not let him out of the building ! I like the sound of this. Could keep us from being desperate in the draft and keep Manny Lawson out at SLB where he belongs. Yes and Yes
Jamie Nails Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Seems like our ratio of brining guys in vs. signing is pretty low this year. Evans, Thompson, bell, kerley, Kroy all left without inking a deal.

I was thinking along the same lines get Glenn and Gilmore done !! Hate to put pressure on them but now is the time to free up some rainy day cash
Buffalo_Stampede Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Hopefully it gets done. 1 less hole entering the draft.
3rdand12 Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Hopefully it gets done. 1 less hole entering the draft. And it is a gaping one IMO. just sign him please. release someone and get him on the roster. I think he is under rated and a good fit
Manther Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 i remember thinking this guy was going to be lights-out coming into the league...I thought so tooBruce Carter...his name is on the thread title.Haha
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 (edited) The sooner they get Glenn signed to an extension, the better to facilitate the signing of useful veteran guys like Carter. Very true. I wonder what kind of deal a guy like this can get. Edited April 1, 2016 by Aaron
Fixxxer Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 The big thing about Carter is he can cover.....which is a need Good highlights https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYrKB5HaJPE He has better hands than half our WR corps. I hope we can sign him, veteran help to the defense and Preston Brown.
GunnerBill Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 This would be a very good dust settle signing. Nice scheme fit, some familiarity from his time with Rob and a guy who has played at an above average level in the league only 3 years ago.
Jamie Nails Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 And I'm going to bet that he's not signing with us. He's had a ton of visits and I'm sure we're not flashing the biggest dough.
Fixxxer Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 And I'm going to bet that he's not signing with us. He's had a ton of visits and I'm sure we're not flashing the biggest dough. given his failure as a 4-3 LB the last couple of years, familiarity with Rex's brother and system might mean more pull for us.
Saint Doug Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Seems like our ratio of brining guys in vs. signing is pretty low this year. Evans, Thompson, bell, kerley, Kroy all left without inking a deal. Ralph/Russ/John/Doug/Kim/Terry's cheap

Maybe we can sign Peyton Manning next.
John from Riverside Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Above average 3 years ago? Maybe we can sign Peyton Manning next. Yes because....you know all pro players should be available and work for peanuts
26CornerBlitz Posted April 2, 2016 Author Posted April 2, 2016 Yes because....you know all pro players should be available and work for peanuts How much you wanna bet some people making comments have never even seen him play?

Now THIS would actually be addressing a need in a sensible manner. Do the draft Ragland people not see that decent ILB's aren't valued all that greatly?
26CornerBlitz Posted April 2, 2016 Author Posted April 2, 2016 @JennaLaineBucs Barring any unforeseen circumstances, former #Bucs and #Cowboys LB Bruce Carter is expected to sign with the #Jets.
