BuffaloBill
What's sad is that this is somehow newsworthy. Parents today seem to think that if their kids have to mow lawns and do side jobs that they are suffering a hardship. Parents today seem to think that if their kids have to mow lawns and do side jobs that they are suffering a hardship. I got a job on my 16th birthday not because I had to, but because I wanted to. My parents instilled many things into me. One was work ethic, the other is integrity. If my son wants to mow lawns for a girl or even for weed, so be it, but it won't be a news story. If my son is mowing lawns for weed and it is publicized as a way to earn money for a girl, he better damn well stand up and tell the truth. I'm thinking the punishment for lying would be FAAAR worse than the punishment for weed.
