mead107 Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 someone is buying this hatchback car. Good idea? Or bad? To small , bad is my vote.
Gugny Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 None of your !@#$ing business gets my vote.
CountryCletus Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 I wouldn't recommend that vehicle to anyone... The reviews I had seen have been horrible.... A real guzzler.....
Buffaloed in Pa Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Expensive to repair. 35 yrs auto collision exp. Any nissan parts are costly.
zevo Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Not a big fan on the quality of Nissan.....much better looking at the Honda Fit if looking for something comparable in that category
CountryCletus Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Expensive to repair. 35 yrs auto collision exp. Any nissan parts are costly. And I hear Nissan owners get rear-ended frequently!!!
ExiledInIllinois Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Expensive to repair. 35 yrs auto collision exp. Any nissan parts are costly. Why is that so? Hasn't Nissan always had a loose partnership with Ford. I think Ford w/Mazda too?
Alaska Darin Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Not a big fan on the quality of Nissan.....much better looking at the Honda Fit if looking for something comparable in that category How many/what have you owned? We had a Xterra for 14 years and nearly 200k before we traded it on the Pathfinder we've had for almost 5. Not a single issue with either of them.
BringBackFergy Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Mead: It's a bold move. If this "guy" (I use that term loosely) ever wants to associate with Bills' fans he'll re-think buying this death trap. If he goes forward with this purchase he becomes nothing more than a guy who listens to NPR on Sundays while he crochets a satchel out of organic alpaca fiber.
MarkyMannn Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Does this have the CVT transmission? I would check out the reliability of it. For that reason alone I avoided Nissan when SUV shopping

And I thought you were being sincere when you held my hand, listened to NPR with me and gave me that lovely satchel... You just wanted me fo my body...sick bastard....
ExiledInIllinois Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Ask /dev... He just purchased a red Rogue... Hey /dev, are you still riding around chanting: "RedRogue! RedRogue!" like Danny from "The Shining." Every time I see a red Rogue... I start reciting that... LoL .. How's the tranny been like mentioned above? Don't ask how I remember this sh*t... I got mind like a steel trap! LoL... ;-) Mead: It's a bold move. If this "guy" (I use that term loosely) ever wants to associate with Bills' fans he'll re-think buying this death trap. PromoTheRobot Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 I know the Consumer Reports ratings of Nissan in general is fair to poor. That said my family have been buying Altimas since 2005 and loved each one.

Don't buy a 1977 Plymouth Fury... Ha! But really, any MODERN (vehicles with more computing power that Apollo 13) car will usually serve you well if you treat it well. USUALLY! Don't worry, be happy... Drive what you want... Even better if you can get a good deal.
The Poojer Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 This car is my rental this weekend. Nice car, surprisingly roomy, handles well, gets unreal gas mileage someone is buying this hatchback car. Good idea? Or bad? To small , bad is my vote.

Too funny! They didn't have a red Rogue in stock so I ended up with black. Last week was one year and only problems have been a punctured tire and hit & run in a parking lot requiring a new bumper

Marv's Neighbor Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 I switched from GM to Nissan in 1983. Got tired of being on a first name basis with Mr Goodwrench.. We have 2 Pathfinders. Very roomy, drive well, they have a large Carbon footprint but so does Air Force 1, so no worries.
John from Riverside Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 I wouldn't recommend that vehicle to anyone... The reviews I had seen have been horrible.... A real guzzler..... Wait a minute.......what? Do you know what car you are talking about.... We have only towed one of them so far.
