I don't remember your concern when that "one man" was GOP.....

I wasn't concerned because he was unable to get anything done. McCrory has done very little. Hes been blocked at all roads.

He is going to be far better than Cooper. But Cooper will reign for a dozen yrs

Victory in NC.............

The Left concedes

RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) -- The Charlotte City Council voted Monday to repeal a bathroom ordinance passed in early 2016 that led to the General Assembly convening a special session to pass North Carolina's controversial HB2 law.

Within minutes of the repeal, Governor-elect Roy Cooper said the controversial state law will be repealed too in the General Assembly and Governor Pat McCrory confirmed he will call for a special session for that purpose.

Wow. Just when thought things couldn't get more embarrassing for the left after the election, this happens. Is there anything the left touches that doesn't turn to crap?

Well, they still have the Greater Macungie Utilities Commission!

There's nothing to worry about, they said.

It wasn’t going to happen. This was not going to be a problem. Only honest-to-goodness women who were trapped in a men’s bodies by genes were going to use women’s locker rooms. Everyone would be well-intentioned and everyone would be comfortable. No big deal. Any concerns some might have about opportunistic voyeurism were an overblown panic.

Except it wasn’t. Recently, a man who did not claim to be a trans-woman just walked into the women's locker room at a Seattle public pool and started changing and watching the women change. A woman reported him. Staff asked him to leave. He resisted, asserting he was allowed to be there. He went for his swim and then returned to the women's locker room when he was finished.

HA! Think you're giving Macungie a bit much credit by thinking:

a) there's a greater macungie

and

b) It has a utilities commission

:P

Roy cooper is going after Republicans hard. The special session did not reject the hb2. The idea was to reject it and put a 6 mos. Cooling off period on new laws of discrimination.

Which is futile, the GOP controls this state right now but outside money pouring in and coopers history as AG will be huge.

Gonna go ahead and put this low on my priority list.

But it makes good talk show fodder. Easy to digest.

what's your take on the double speak by NCdems? Why did they only start o this a Week after assuring Cooper is the not gov and they wont control any other branch or office??

No idea. Don't care.

The thing to care about from yesterday? Trump and Putin posturing about nukes. That might matter more than a guy at a gym using the women's lockers.

Brighton (NY) Town Supervisor Criticizes Wegmans For North Carolina Expansion.

BRIGHTON, N.Y. -- The "Bathroom Bill" situation in North Carolina prompted a Rochester area politician to call out a local company about doing business in North Carolina.

Brighton Town Supervisor Bill Moehle tweeted about Wegmans' expansion plans into North Carolina and why the company should wait until North Carolina repeals HB2 and restores legal structure for its new governor.

Wegmans replied, saying they have no plans to cancel their stores at this time.

The most important issue to his local constituents in the Rochester, New York area, is to make a half assed political statement about the plans of a private business, which employs many of his constituents?
