Rare Historical Photos

No, it has to be a number late in the series (but not the end 'cause that's too obvious) to assure you click through at least two or three ads.

That's why I love me some pfsense with DNSBL and squidguard.

All I get is either a single pixel or a certificate error if the ad is forced over HTTPS

shouldn't they say #1 was insane?

the one that was most interesting and i had never seen was Vladimer Komarov.

That was what I thought, but had to keep clicking to get #27 & see what they were trying to grab me into. Yet, that photo was interesting and sorta insane. Put it in perspective of the era... The photo was perfectly time... The photo was extremely cyrstal clear... Must have been a camera with superior optics... Exposure, everything... And then in the instant it was captured. Remember, things weren't in digtal and rolling... This was captured on celluoid in the exact instant. Then, not like the nuke shot were it was choreographed. #27 was taken in a mass panic! Emotional state! Pretty incredible under the extreme circumstances!!!

Now the Rookie shot, that was just surreal the nonchalant look on their faces...

A lot of the descriptions of those are bull ****. This is the fourth time I've seen one of these list show a picture of the '46 Bikini Island test and claim it was the 15 megaton Castle Bravo warhead.

Yeah... I try to take most descriptions w/a grain of salt... So much out there that is all FUBAR'd, don't get me started... ;);)

Glad the one's that have different knowledge of things can set the record straight! It gets everybody to start critically thinking.

Where do you think #27 was shot from and do you know the timeline of that vessel's situation @ Pearl?

I didn't even get to #27. I stopped at the usual a-bomb bull ****.

Just looked at it...yeah, that's the Shaw blowing up. Famous picture, but usually with the left half of the picture cropped. This is the one you usually see: http://nyx.uky.edu/dips/xt7v6w967n1s/data/1/12_p/12/12.jpg
