JoeF Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 Good video of Wyche and JP presenting a community service award on BB.com. Gives you a sense of JP's life growing up. Worth the look. Link to Bills Player is on the homepage as the #1 story. Wyche is hysterical...the Condalena joke is classic.... http://www.buffalobills.com/
nodnarb Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 JP has a great nervous laugh. It's hilarious. He seems like a fairly bright kid. I'd put him up against the speaking skills of ben roethlisberger any day. He throws a better deep out, too.
Rubes Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 Damn I really want to see this kid in action. How long until preseason???
Dan III Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 Damn I really want to see this kid in action. How long until preseason??? 245530 5 months...
NorCal Aaron Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 JP has a great nervous laugh. It's hilarious. 245433 See Vince Vaughn in Clay Pigeons.
JoeF Posted February 19, 2005 Author Posted February 19, 2005 JP is going to make a ton of money in endorsements if he is successful on the field. Being from Raleigh, I am a huge Phillip Rivers booster, but the more I see of JP--the more impressed I am with him. You can tell he actually prepared for those remarks--a lot of rookies would roll their eyes and try to wing it or ask for a script from the PR folks. I was impressed by the genuiness....
TigerJ Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 JP will get better as a speaker as he matures. He still seems to mee like a pretty genuine guy, and while he's clearly confident, I don't see any of the cockiness/arrogance that he was reputed to have coming out of Tulane.
djh Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 wow.....he is definitely not a B.S.er. Speaks from the heart. Notice no bling bling, just a simple guy.....that loves football. When does camp start???
Fixxxer Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 it seems Sam and JP are very comfortable with each other, as if they have a genuine relantionship, thanks for the link.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 I still don't see the comparison to Adam Sandler, and he doesn't sound like a girl. I'd rather listen to him than Tom Brady.
Hammered a Lot Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 JP will get better as a speaker as he matures. He still seems to mee like a pretty genuine guy, and while he's clearly confident, I don't see any of the cockiness/arrogance that he was reputed to have coming out of Tulane. I wonder how he will do after the game at the BTI, as a speaker!!! I hope JK has not already leached on to the youngin, per his buddy-buddy ads for the JK football camp.
