It has been, and Hollywood has been digitizing actor's faces for at least a decade now (making them younger/hotter/whatever). But that tech was largely exclusive due to its price tag. This new tech is cheaper, and can be done with any webcam which means pretty much anyone can use it. The propaganda that could come from this over the next decade is nauseating.
