it been mentioned that Whaley knows Line backers on more than one occasion.

I do not see it one bit. Do you?

I have no dislike of Whaley because he cannot draft an O lineman either.

He is still miles ahead of any GM bills have had in place for years.

name his success with a line backer to date.

BTW i am a Preston Brown fan even after last years "slump"

R Johnson has to be able to start this year....or...he shouldn't be on the team...its year 3 folks. He was a monster out of college....need to see that materialize on the field in the NFL this year. I am guessing he will get that chance this summer. Rex D is intricate...and perhaps he doesn't have the head to play the D.........anyhow, its up or out this year for him.

Kiko and Brown were successes for the systems they were drafted to play in. Rookies who came in right away and contributed.

If you want to blame him for injuries and coaching changes, then so be it.

Name his failures with linebacker to date.

He was a 7th round pick...if he doesn't make it, that's not much of a surprise. We should be lucky if he's even a solid backup.

uggh

you named two that have failed. why should I ? nothing personal brother.

Kiko was a risk in college and is still questionable imo.

Brown had great first season and played above his reviews as a thumper only.

If you want to count Bradham, he is gone.

If you want to count Lawson he has been viable smart veteran.

Reddick Tarpley Powell Johnson have at best been ST contributors when not injured. And injury does count!

Lets not get personal please.

But what is our starting rotation and you cannot use jerry hughes lol ( maybe Dougies finest moment )

Actually AJ Tarpley was starting to show some ability at the end of the season.

I feel like he needs to add some muscule though

I like Tarpley's instincts for the position but he's just not good enough of an athlete imo. These days you have to have the size and speed as well to keep up with these physical freaks

The said the same thing about Chris Spielman

One of my all time favorite bills

Back to the Jauron days it seems.

Wheres John DiGiorgio when you need him?

Remember how thin those teams were? They were signing guys off the street to play that week. The name Marcus Buggs for some reason hasn't escaped me.

The more things change the more they remain the same.

maybe the NFL offseason training program will help. We will see how he looks in OTAs.

I think the Bills biggest weakness is LB. But honestly, this year could be that those guys i mentioned and we have listed will step up.

But it just feels thin there after last seasons efforts and moving to a scheme that needs to supply a 3-4 look

I was a fan.

he was a risk.

the risk was revealed. other knee though.

Hit rookie wall and hard.

what has he done lately.

That is not the point.....Whaley found a runner up rookie D player of the year who ran into injuries...that has NOTHING to do with talent

THen he found Preston Brown who had 100 tackles in his rookie season...then the team went through a scheme change

Whaley IS finding the talent
