Also it's funny for him to brag about "growing up on the ocean" even though Philly is on the Delaware river, not the ocean. And he brags about the casinos in Atlantic City, which is in New Jersey. He literally mentions zero attractions that are in Philadelphia.

Bush league at best. He's also clearly an idiot, buffalo is ON lake Erie. Not 35 miles away. He wouldn't know that because he obviously hasn't been down to canalside.

The stadium is no more than a 5 min drive from the lake either.

except for cheesesteaks being better than wings. I mean, they are both good. And it has nothing to do with why a football player would sign in one city vs another. Well, unless they were cut from one.

Why any reporter just takes a shot at a city and doesn't even know what he's talking about. I haven't lived in Buffalo for 25 years, and i do live in a nice city in Tampa, FL, but I love Buffalo. He doesn't get it. He glazed over one of the best parts of this city in it's people.

My wife often tells me how there is a comradre among Buffalo people. She's watched me for years meet strangers from Buffalo, and we almost immediately hit it off. She says to me she doesn't know people from any other city like it.

Buffalo will always be my home. Cheesesteak? Cheap crappy meat with cheese whiz on it. I'll take a Mighty Taco, or Blasdell Pizza any day of the week.

Go Bills!

Philly is not exactly much to write home about, frankly.

i live 20 miles from center city, moved here in 08, the suburbs are fine , but the city is a dump, corrupt politicians , just like buffalo, but on a bigger scale. buffalo is slowly "coming back" philly is dying. every time i hear people in the media take shots at other predictable cities like buffalo, cleveland etc, it not worth the energy to react anymore.

I really don't' understand why anyone would have any hate for Buffalo

or why anyone would need to project their dislike of the city when writing about free agency pick ups

But what is weird is what the hell does philly really offer.. Its a run down town

Buffalo has been insulted by better. It is what they call in pro wrestling cheap heat. Take easy shots. Yawn. I would like to point out to the genius you come to WNY to work and not sight see. Buffalo is a port of Lake Erie and not 35 miles away while Philly is 70 miles from the ocean. What a goober.

Ah yes, the cheesesteaks that they put Cheez Wiz on.

This guy is a lazy hack that probably gets bum steers in every town he goes to. Going to Niagara Falls was probably a huge deal since he probably never leaves his hotel other than to go to the stadium when he is in town. It sounds like he either doesn't do any research or is likely too stupid to recognize a place like Big Ditch or Blue Monk as he walks by counting the ratio of Taco Bells in Buffalo vs Philly. 20 years from now he may stumble into Canalside by accident (though he may think he is in Toronto) and we will get treated to an article about how Philly's outdoor rinks are icier than Buffalo's because Philly will always win to homers like this.

I've been to Philly twice and really enjoyed it, so I won't let this guy's insults sway me. Just a terrible piece of writing.

Oh, and it's Lake Ontario that is 35 miles from Buffalo, not Lake Erie. So hard to tell those big lakes apart. :)

Yeah, but where do you think most the Jersey shore trash comes from? lol

I sent him an email. He responded and said he doesn't pick the pictures or captions and he's sorry I didn't like his article but to check out his other award winning articles over the last 30 years

The "reporter" left out the biggest reason why Bradham, Brooks, and McKelvin would rather play in Philly:

Buffalo didn't want them.

Next.

GO BILLS!!!

we have been going back and forth for a little while. He doesn't really address any of my points. His last response was Greg Roman is from Atlantic City...

I tried to point this out to him but he ignored it.

What a joke. Philly is a dump and has some of the worst, classless people I've ever met. After going the the Bills-Eagles game this year, I'm not sure I ever need to step foot in that city again. Its a sad pathetic place.
