YoloinOhio Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 What substance ? Hgh, Weed, Coke ? his last suspension was for weed

Maury Ballstein Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Give me a stoned Martavis > a sober Hogan.
purple haze Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Alcohol causes many more problems than Marijuana, yet we see multiple beer ads during games. Marijuana can also be used for pain tolerance, which in the NFL is necessary. But since it is against the rules the dude needs to be smarter about his use or not use it at all.
FireChan Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Give me a stoned Martavis > a sober Hogan. Only one of them sees the field.

As more states legalize MJ, it will eventually make its way off the banned substance list and the points you make are perfectly sensible.
nucci Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 As more states legalize MJ, it will eventually make its way off the banned substance list and the points you make are perfectly sensible. But it needs to be legalized like alcohol and tobacco....
Deranged Rhino Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 But it needs to be legalized like alcohol and tobacco.... 100%, but it's coming.
26CornerBlitz Posted March 12, 2016 Author Posted March 12, 2016 But it needs to be legalized like alcohol and tobacco.... I agree.

EDIT: If it was for Mary Jane, then NFL is having a ridiculous knee Jerk reaction. Its not a performance enhancer that challenges the integrity of the game. Its legal in Denver for recreational use and Denver Jus won the super bowl.....coincidence? I think not! But it needs to be legalized like alcohol and tobacco.... Yes. Our population would mellow out a little more and less people would be stuck in prisons for profit over a substance that is not as harmful as alcohol. If society would get its head out of its "Reefer Madness" ass, taxable maraJuana would help the economy considering how many people partake. Jus set an age for it and go. In Colorado the weed at the dispensary costs a ton of money. About $22 per gram plus tax. 26 grams per ounce and you are over $600/oz with taxes. It's good bu that is absurd. Most heavy weed smokers in CO stick to their trusted illegal dealer. De-criminalize it and follow Spain's model. Spain encourages everyone to grow two plants. Eliminates the dealers and lowers crime. Cost of a good buzz is a little water, fertilizer and some tender loving care.
chris heff Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 It is absurd to be suspending players for weed.
Deranged Rhino Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Truly a stoner attitude. Wouldn't a stoner attitude be to smoke it anyway? Purple is at least advocating restraint. Why legalize it? In Colorado the weed at the dispensary costs a ton of money. About $22 per gram plus tax. 26 grams per ounce and you are over $600/oz with taxes. It's good bu that is absurd. Most heavy weed smokers in CO stick to their trusted illegal dealer. De-criminalize it and follow Spain's model. Spain encourages everyone to grow two plants. Eliminates the dealers and lowers crime. Cost of a good buzz is a little water, fertilizer and some tender loving care. Legalize it because the states want their tax dollars. In California (and in CO) you can buy your own plants and grow yourself with the laws as they are now, you don't need to go to a dispensary but most do because we're Americans. We don't make stuff. We buy stuff other people made.
