They all kind of suck but it seems things are on hold until Kaep's situation is resolved, which doesn't appear to be anytime soon. Regardless, what does that situation have to do with McCown or Hoyer? You think they'd rather be $5M backups than $7M starters? Either would be thrilled to be traded to the Jets and have a chance to compete for a starting job. And again, what option would they have if they were traded to the Jets other than to play under their existing contracts?
