26CornerBlitz Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 No news on Andre Smith? CBF Vikings and Bucs have interest.
Chuck Wagon Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Seems like the market is resetting a bit now. Teams that had money and specific targets spent it. Now the guys that are left have a period to realize they aren't getting the big dollars before the values start coming.
Best Player Available Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Gronk after he asks the pats*** for his release over his $$$ issues with the pats***. Gronk + Clay= superbowl.
26CornerBlitz Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 AFC East has contrasting approach to free agency Less than two full days into free agency the AFC East has had some notable additions and subtractions to their talent base.
dpberr Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Since we'll be fully pregnant this year, everyone knows that when you have kids, you don't have any money. I think the Bills will be bargain bin shoppers this year, late in FA for depth. Just don't have any money to spend. Sure, they could get the Gilmore and Glenn situations resolved, but it's a small window.

26CornerBlitz Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Thoughts on Greg Zuerlein anyone? CBF Great range with spotty accuracy. I have to question how well he'd do in the elements when kicking at the Ralph.
Best Player Available Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 We aren't signing anyone. Nobody!!!!!!!! Ryan Leaf? Out of the league since 02 well rested, sober (maybe) and Whaley loves him some former first round picks (see C. Williams)
Freddie's Dead Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Since we can't afford it anyway, we sit out the crazy money days, then go dumpster diving in another 7-10 days. We can't afford much more than vet minimum, so we'll get guys that are on the downsides of their careers looking for that last gasp. Reminds me of 2001. The only bright light there is that our first three picks in the draft were Clements, Schobel, and Henry. We get three picks like that, we might have a shot.

With only around 3 million to spend on FA, we will have to find some bargains.
ndirish1978 Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Lol. I didn't realize Chris Hogan played for Miami too last year. We signed him from Miami's practice squad several years ago. They never said it was last year

26CornerBlitz Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 @PFWeekly Handing out free agency grades for the AFC East, where one team dominated the activity: http://shawurl.com/2gxt Buffalo: B- The Bills didn't do much adding this offseason, but they also didn't have much room. They cut the final two years on Mario Williams' atrocious $100 million deal and did what they could with Cordy Glenn by applying the franchise tag, which he deserved. The only deal to really evaluate is the three-year, $15.75 million one they gave Richie Incognito. The money seems nice, but he's turning 33 in July and can be questionable in pass protection. It's also probably not safe to assume his character issues are entirely gone after one clean year. It's fine to keep him with Glenn on the left side, and you have to give Buffalo credit for sticking to a real plan in free agency: to foster last year's top-ranked rushing attack, the bloodline of a Rex Ryan team.
26CornerBlitz Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Pete Prisco: "They need to get better up front." (13:34)CBS Sports Senior NFL Columnist Pete Prisco called in to The John Murphy Show to lay out his free agency grades for teams around the league, discuss what he thinks of the Bills offseason so far, and what went in to his latest mock draft.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Man Whaley wasn't kidding when he told the media to take time off during fred agency CBF
26CornerBlitz Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Man Whaley wasn't kidding when he told the media to take time off during fred agency CBF He clearly laid out the priorities for what they wanted to accomplish. They still have time to pick up a nice bargain with the UFA market calming down.
