Maury Ballstein Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Sad sad day in my household. Time to bust out the cure/dashboard confessional playlist.
BillsVet Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Collateral damage from the Whaley/Rex spending spree of 2015. Now they'll be looking for bargain bin UFA pickups or draft picks to take his place, a position of apparent priority for Rex's defenses. Better hope Gilmore plays a full 16 which he hasn't done since his rookie season in 2012.
26CornerBlitz Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 @RapSheet A starter throughout his career, former #Bills CB Leodis McKelvin, 30, will draw interest on a FA market without a ton of corner depth.
26CornerBlitz Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Sad sad day in my household. Time to bust out the cure/dashboard confessional playlist. Who's gonna beat that ass now?
The Big Cat Posted March 4, 2016 Author Posted March 4, 2016 What are the chances AW stays healthy? There's nothing about his injury which will make him prone to future injuries (according to Whaley on WGR yesterday) There's no guarantee any player stays healthy I'm pleased to see you're finally beginning to show signs of understanding the impact health can have on a unit's success!!
KD in CA Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Good riddance. The last of the amazing run of horrible first round picks from the last decade. Will be easily replaced for less $.
Maury Ballstein Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Who's gonna beat that ass now? I just don't know. I'll be rooting for him though.
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Not surprising, as 4 M savings is a lot given the performance, and the likelihood it can be replaced much cheaper.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Hopefully his new team doesnt allow him to return kicks/punts CBF
26CornerBlitz Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 I have to believe a contract extension with Gilmore happens soon.
4merper4mer Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 If true, does this open the door for Cromartie? To realize their full potential, crappy schemes need crappy players.
Mr. WEO Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Think of the extra saving when they let his interpreter go as well.
The Big Cat Posted March 4, 2016 Author Posted March 4, 2016 A neck injury that's been nagging him for a while in which he contemplated retirement? I'll call Whaleys bluff on that one. Of course injury effects a units success. It doesn't take away from a ****ty coaching job though. One that was ****ty before the injuries. the only evidence we as fans have runs contrary to my belief that he's a walking injury liability, therefore, I'll believe it's a lie. "before the injuries" hmmm. well, AW went out before the second game ended. And in the first game the defense dominated. So...? what are you defining as "before the injuries?"
The Big Cat Posted March 4, 2016 Author Posted March 4, 2016 I have to believe a contract extension with Gilmore happens soon. My next question was "who are they freeing up this money for?"
YoloinOhio Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 (edited) @spotrac Releasing Leodis McKelvin clears $3.9M from the #Bills cap; have now released 4 key players and restructured 2 more. Does Spotrac know what "key players" means? So far only one starter. Carpenter isn't answering his phone though... Edited March 4, 2016 by YoloinOhio
26CornerBlitz Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 To realize their full potential, crappy schemes need crappy players. Please explain how the scheme is crappy. You keep repeating things that you seemingly cannot backup with any real football expertise that you can demonstrate with actual analysis.
Jerry Jabber Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Don't have to worry about him botching/fumbling on KO's and PR's anymore.
