The Big Cat Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Cue the "great, now he'll go to the Pats*" paranoia. http://twitter.com/HoustonTexans/status/705418554150146048
26CornerBlitz Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 @DraftDiamonds Arian Foster has been cut by the Texans God only knows! @MikeMcCartney7 What a great RUN @ArianFoster had with the @HoustonTexans! Thanks to the Texans & I'm personally excited what lies ahead for Arian!
The Poojer Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 great! Now he'll end up in a Patriots uniform and destroy us 2 or 3 times a year. Frigging awesome!
KD in CA Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Great back but too many injuries. He was a cornerstone of my keeper league team but I dropped him last year.
KollegeStudnet Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 (edited) My question is how comitted is he to playing and/or how many years does he have left in the tank? Injuries, some big, have hindered his career. The groin injuries/surgeries have been rampant over the years. Edited March 3, 2016 by KollegeStudnet
Formerly Allan in MD Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 I can easily see the Pats jumping on him.
Maury Ballstein Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Once he, forte, and Mario join the pats we are doooomed !
3rdand12 Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 It's a sad day when Texas kicks an Arian out. thats kinda deep
C.Biscuit97 Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Once he, forte, and Mario join the pats we are doooomed ! Our chances of winning the AFC East are dropping rapidly!

The groin injuries/surgeries have been rampant over the years. He doesn't strike me as a hanger on a la Fredex. I wouldn't be surprised to see him hang it up. If he doesn't he likely is looking for a contender with an established back. He can do a lot of damage in a limited role imo.
PO16FFS Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Probably one of the most talented players out there who did nothing with what was given to him. If I remember correctly, he was the first athlete to sign a contract with that stock market agency where you can buy his stock. EJ had the same as well. I hope not too many people invested in these 2 losers.
machine gun kelly Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 I can't believe it. Finally an over 30 guy is released who is injured and no one in a thread says "hey let's bring him in for the minimum".
Saint Doug Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 (edited) I've heard of him. Let's kick the tires and see if he has anything left in the tank, despite being on the wrong side of 30, obviously. Edited March 4, 2016 by Saint Doug

I remember reading an article about that stock market thing thinking 'who is going to invest in the future earnings of a bad QB and a running back already at the peak of his career'. Interesting concept if they could get top draft picks to sign up.
White Linen Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 father time waits for no man He doesn't believe in father time either.
