Whoever wins, we're going to get more war, more poverty, and more divisiveness as we continue to slide into a corporate fascist state. The election has already been decided, as has the path we're on as a nation. Unless people actually wake up and take to the streets, nothing will change. And not one of them has the discipline, honesty, or integrity to not abuse it horribly. If we still had constitutional checks and balances working, it wouldn't be nearly as much of an issue. The Constitution specifies a form of government intended to minimize the effects of retards in positions of power. But the government we have now over-exposes us to the risk of retarded executives. He's a raging evangelical, he's an absolutist, he's got no management experience, he's actually a little bit nuts (brilliant, yes...but the two aren't mutually exclusive,) he's an egomaniac who would stand out in any other race not chock-full of egomaniacal narcissists like this one, his ethics - particularly in his rhetorical flourish - are those of a low-rent used car salesman (which, again, would stand out in any other race...), he approaches even simple debate - never mind important negotiation - with the bloody-minded take-no-prisoners savagery of a Blackbeard on crystal meth that is impractical for an executive position.
