Big Turk Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 (edited) I have taken a project I've been working on for a little while and turned it into an open source project. Basically it is going to be a career football simulation game similar to what OOTP baseball, Franchise Hockey Manager and Football Manager are. While I am also looking for coding help, I do need people on the football side as well to flesh out ideas and how things should work so those can then be implemented by the coders. There are some things completed like an NFL schedule replicator that takes all the rules in the NFL schedule on a yearly basis, and creates a random schedule, generation code to create players, scouts, owners, coaches, etc and a play by play parser that takes play by play data and sticks it into a DB for use in the statistical engine. This would be a chance for people to get in on a project at near ground floor level and help determine the direction and features of the game as well as getting ideas developed into code. If anyone would be interested please PM me here or send an email to codeliftsleep@yahoo.com Our github page is http://codeliftsleep.github.io/Goal-Line-Stand-Football Which contains more detailed information We are also integrated on Slack at https://goallinestand.slack.com/ Edited February 27, 2016 by matter2003
