I remember in the summer when my Dad used to take us to work with him and he listened to Dallas City Council meeting on the radio. Al Lipscomb before his run on the City Council, would come in raise holy heck and have to be physically removed. then when Diana Ragsdale was on she was always up for raising holy heck. It was reported in the 1990s that when Atlanta would have company executives come to town to talk about moving there, they would show them video of the Dallas City Council and tell them if they move there, they'll have to deal with that.
