K D Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Bosa doing LB drills as well as DL. I think he might be best fit at 3 technique Not big enough imo, and not athletic enough to be a 5. He's better off in a 4-3 But combine aside I think he's going to be a heck of a player
YoloinOhio Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) Not big enough imo, and not athletic enough to be a 5. He's better off in a 4-3 But combine aside I think he's going to be a heck of a player he isn't big enough which is why I don't get why he shows up at 269. He actually dropped weight for the combine but ultimately I think he's a Ryan Kerrigan/Cameron Jordan. Edited February 28, 2016 by YoloinOhio
YoloinOhio Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 Lawson looks like a 3-4 guy @nfldraftscout On my clock, three best 10 yard splits: Ogbah, Tapper (1.59) and Spence (1.62) Per his agent, Paxton Lynch met with 49ers, Jets, Bills, Chiefs, Eagles, Cowboys, Texans, Rams, Saints, Browns, Cardinals
Andrew Son Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) Lawson looks like a 3-4 guy @nfldraftscout On my clock, three best 10 yard splits: Ogbah, Tapper (1.59) and Spence (1.62) Lawson looks like what we've been missing. Get me Lawson and then a Billings/Robinson/Reed/Clark/Rankins type. D fixed Edited February 28, 2016 by SWATeam

YoloinOhio Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 LB Darron Lee broad-jumped 11 feet, 1 inch, second-best of any combine participant this year so far. @zjwhitman Pending agility drills, Emmanuel Ogbah and Charles Tapper are on track to finish at or around the 90th SPARQ percentile at EDGE. Nkemdiche is on pace to finish as the top SPARQ DL. Somewhat underwhelmed by results. No real outliers.
YoloinOhio Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 Ohio State LBs run 4.47 (Darron Lee) and 4.68 (Josh Perry). Darron Lee's first 10 yards in his 40 were faster than Ezekiel Elliott's -- 1.56 vs. 1.58. Lee's 40 was faster than Miller/Thomas/Marshall. Lee is also the youngest player at the combine Top 20-yard shuttles for DLs GOLD(tie): Joey Bosa & Shaq Lawson, 4.21 BRONZE (tie): Shilique Calhoun & Bronson Kaufusi, 4.25 Joey Bosa: 4.21 short shuttle, 6.89 3-cone !!! One team doesn't see him as a 1st rounder. Hmmm...

YoloinOhio Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 Darron Lee and Travis Feeney both tested very well, 90th+ percentile, but neither was quite to the level of a real Combine freak. Scooby Wright tested in the 3rd SPARQ percentile at LB.
YoloinOhio Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) Good draft insight here from combine buzz http://m.jsonline.com/sports/packers/2016-nfl-draft-outlook-b99676279z1-370399721.html Darron Lee's official time in the 40 was 4.43. Even better than his unofficial times. Joshua Perry's remained 4.68. Edited February 28, 2016 by YoloinOhio

Buffalo Barbarian Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Yesterday's winners and losers http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000639554/article/day-2-nfl-combine-winners-and-losers?campaign=Twitter_atn Winners -- Goff,Fuller, Doctson, Treadwell, Prescott Losers-- Cardale, Conner Cook the throws I saw from Cook were right on the money, although I didn't see them all.
YoloinOhio Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 the throws I saw from Cook were right on the money, although I didn't see them all. the throws were good IMO. Thought he did fine.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I think that these drills are exposing Bosa as a good not great athlete. He is still a very good player on the field obviously. I also think that Andrew Billings looks like a great athlete for his size. I wasn't expecting him to be that good of an athlete Not impressed by Austin Johnson. He looks slow and sluggish compared to a lot of these guys thought that Cowser kid looked better, but Bosa's Tape is phenominal the throws were good IMO. Thought he did fine. me too, the throws I saw were right on the money and better than the others Blaechhhhhh On NFLNow Nkemdiche admitting that as a #1 overall recruit, he didn't feel need to work on the technicalities because of his athleticism not a good sign, Lazy is as Lazy does
YoloinOhio Posted February 29, 2016 Author Posted February 29, 2016 thought that Cowser kid looked better, but Bosa's Tape is phenominal me too, the throws I saw were right on the money and better than the others not a good sign, Lazy is as Lazy does if we take him in the first I will throw something heavy at my TV
Buffalo Barbarian Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 New weirdest combine Q for Brandon Doughty, WKU. "You're on a mountain in Alaska on a bus going 100mph. Where are you sitting on the bus?" WTH kinda question is that? um in the back so I don't get killed in a head collision or going over a cliff, hopefully don't go end over end. or tell the drive to slow down or I break your neck ... dumb questions if we take him in the first I will throw something heavy at my TV well we could do worse but I prefer a kid with no baggage in the first
