K-9 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I LOVED when he was playing with Miami...it was a guaranteed first down whenever we ran at him. Remember the game where Carwell Gardner and Cox got into a fight on the field, and then Carwell got to him again in the tunnel? It was the boiling over from the game-long beatdown Carwell laid on him. Jimbo must've called that power FB lead to the right a dozen times--and each time Carwell buried Cox. Man that was a fun game Unbelievable that you mentioned this. We were talking about this very game and incident the other night. Cox had a big "X" tattooed on his forward that day. Since I haven't and probably won't watch a minute of this combine live, I am counting on you to provide the 10 yard split times for the DLmen. It's my favorite stat. Also, keep us posted on who breaks a 70 in the power explosion events. Thanks. GO BILLS!!!
YoloinOhio Posted February 27, 2016 Author Posted February 27, 2016 (edited) ouchHe did end up finishing top 3 in short shuttle, long shuttle and 3-cone. He's explosive. I think he is more quick/elusive than straight line fast. He wasn't used as a deep threat often, they used him laterally as a h-back a lot. All that said, he has run in the High 4.3s in practice at a heavier weight so I still expected better time today. He tied for the second best 60 yd shuttle since 2006 (10.84) among WRs 1. Brandin Cooks 10.72 2. Braxton and Damian Copeland Elite change of direction Edited February 27, 2016 by YoloinOhio

YoloinOhio Posted February 27, 2016 Author Posted February 27, 2016 (edited) @zjwhitman Your top SPARQ receiver from the 2016 NFL Combine is Josh Doctson. 95th percentile league-wide. Phenomenal day. Oklahoma WR Sterling Shepard tested in the 73rd percentile among NFL WRs. *this is my guy for the Bills btw Harvard TE Ben Braunecker tested out in the 78th percentile, best among Combine TEs. Ben Braunecker tested out very similarly to Charles Clay. Devon Cajuste, WR, Stanford -- 4.62 40/1.61 10/4.2 SS/6.49 3C -- 36" V/10'3" B/12 BP -- 83rd percentile SPARQ league-wide. Braxton Miller came in sixth among Combine WR SPARQ, mostly carried by excellent agility results. 70th percentile league-wide. Pending the agility drills, Auburn WR Ricardo Louis is well on pace to test in the 90th+ percentile. Young with size and length. Who didn't? Though he put up the top 40 time, Notre Dame WR Will Fuller only came in at the 50th percentile overall. Tyler Boyd tested in the 18th percentile Wtf!! Dismissed Auburn WR Duke Williams tested in the 3rd percentile. Edited February 27, 2016 by YoloinOhio

Mark Vader Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Dak Prescott continues to impress me. If the Bills are going to draft a QB, I hope it is him. TE David Morgan Texas-San Antonio, looked very good.
Andrew Son Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Dak Prescott continues to impress me. If the Bills are going to draft a QB, I hope it is him. TE David Morgan Texas-San Antonio, looked very good. I think Morgan could be a fit

WRs kind of on the slow side so far. Boyd 4.59. Devon Cajuste... I'm intrigued big kid, soft hands would be great over the middle and endzone

RK_BillsFan Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Man.... i would be very tempted if Treadwell, Laquon or Thomas, Michael where still on the board at 19.
YoloinOhio Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 DL and LB today.... most important for Bills fans
Andrew Son Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I hope Shaq Lawson doesn't blow it up today. I think this is the guy Rex needs
YoloinOhio Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) Mayock compared Bosa's time to Clowney, but I still think 4.89 with 10 TD split of 1.69 is a good time for 6'5 270. OldTimer1960 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 #NFLCombine bench-press reps for FBs Andy Janovich, 30 Dan Vitale, 30 Soma Vainuku, 26 Glenn Gronkowski, 17 #NFLCombine bench-press reps for RBs Most: Keith Marshall (25) Fewest: Shadrach Thornton (12) Derrick Henry: 22 Ezekiel Elliott didn't bench. @nfldraftscout This is new: Shon Coleman says MCL surgery will prevent him from working out at the Combine or his Pro Day. Mid-April before he's ready I would have thought that Gronkowski would have been a bench press hero. I thought he would be near the leaders in that.
YoloinOhio Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 @jumosq The only EDGE who had a good 10-40 combo from the first group was Judon. Bullard fringe FPish, but at 285, assuming he's a 3-T not a DE.
gonzo1105 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I think that these drills are exposing Bosa as a good not great athlete. He is still a very good player on the field obviously. I also think that Andrew Billings looks like a great athlete for his size. I wasn't expecting him to be that good of an athlete Not impressed by Austin Johnson. He looks slow and sluggish compared to a lot of these guys
