The Big Cat Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 I wonder why that is. Not coastal. Lots of land. There are massive swaths of abandoned lots on the South Side. Vertical living is confined to the lake shore and downtown. Dunno.
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 shame, i used to work about 600 feet from this monstrosity: http://chicago.curbed.com/archives/2015/01/27/chicago-bear-matt-forte-paid-over-4m-for-this-humongous-river-north-mansion.php Jeeeze - who else lives there? Place is a palace. Theater, multiple decks, state of the art kitchen. Dayummmmm Nicest house I've ever been to was Tyler Myers house, before he bought it: http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/186-Middlesex-Rd-Buffalo-NY-14216/98072872_zpid/ Creepy that all that is so easy to find on the internet...

It was not at all what I expected. Very unassuming. I'm sure it was decked out inside, but just a nice suburban cape cod-style home from the outside.

YoloinOhio Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 How many days did you spend in jail? He lived by the meridian country club. Family member belonged and pointed out his house.

Blokestradamus Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Good post. Exactly what we saw with Karlos Williams last year- great change of pace back but when he got his crack at 20 carries a game, he wasn't nearly as effective. This is why LeSan McCoy is so valuable. I really hope this thing gets brushed under the rug. Not everyone is made for that workload, it's not really a bad thing either. Not to say that Langford can't (not a big fan of his game myself) but, if he can't, you can't spend a season regretting it. You're right on Karlos though, he's not held up that well to increased carries. Frankly, I think he's too big for that role. Lot of weight to keep moving around.
26CornerBlitz Posted February 12, 2016 Author Posted February 12, 2016 new england Dion Lewis and Forte would be a nice duo for them. Hope it doesn't happen.
Beerball Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Nah, GB gives him at least 2 shots at da Bears every season & they can really use someone with his talents.
26CornerBlitz Posted February 13, 2016 Author Posted February 13, 2016 @MarcSesslerNFL Where will Matt Forte wind up? @ConorOrr cuts through the chaotic haze to tell you where: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000635912/article/which-teams-are-the-best-fit-for-matt-forte
C.Biscuit97 Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 NE and GB would both be great places for him. He's a really good player. It's kinda depressing how devalued rb is now. You're almost better off changing positions.

truth on hold Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Depending on how this shady thing unfolds, I could definitely see forte here. Rex likes the experienced superstar back, even if he's lost a step. He signed Tomlinson after chargers parted ways with him
SF Bills Fan Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Holy cow...a place like that for less than $450 a square foot?? What's up with the Chicago real estate market? No kidding- that would be a steal by San Francisco standards. That would be 20 million easily in San Francisco if not more. Then again, San Francisco is completely overpriced and silly in terms of the real estate market
26CornerBlitz Posted March 9, 2016 Author Posted March 9, 2016 @RapSheet Among the teams interested in veteran RB Matt Forte: The #Jets and #Dolphins. His market will heat up when the other RBs sign.

I really hope this thing gets brushed under the rug. I think you misunderstood what Blokes was saying, I believe he was taking about catching out of the backfield. Langford had an exceptional career running the ball at MSU. In his final two years he had about 550 carries for just shy of 3,000 yards and 40 touchdowns. He is not a good comparison to Karlos who had less than 250 carries and 1400 yards. Langford has been a workhorse, Karlos running style hasn't afforded him that title, hopefully he has better luck in the future with injuries.
