Saxum Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 The Jebster was rooting for Bronocs because Peyton wrote his campaign a donation. http://www.foxsports.com/buzzer/story/jeb-bush-south-carolina-rooted-for-denver-because-peyton-wrote-him-check-021116 At a campaign stop in Mount Pleasant, S.C., on Wednesday, Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush told the assembled crowd that on Super Bowl Sunday, he was rooting for Denver to beat the Carolina Panthers. Although he was surrounded by supporters (video above), it took some cojones for Jeb to disclose the reason for his rooting interest -- because Peyton wrote a $2,700 check to Bush's campaign last August.
Leroi Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 That is unfortunate. Sexist, racist and homophobic are just a few adjectives to describe that party. Peyton should distance himself from that hate. HGH and now this. Time to retire bud. Imo

Congratulations, I look forward to your future epic verbal battles with gator.
BarleyNY Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Why is Peyton Manning's affiliation with a Republican presidential candidate surprising to anyone? He's originally from a very red state and he's incredibly tight with Papa John's founder, John Schnatter, who has been an enormous GOP supporter over the years. That came to light when he made some incredibly idiotic comments sometime around the last presidential election.

But the article you linked shows a franchisor ripping off employees. Not Papa John himself.

Everything about him screams conservative. Aside from the tea bagging incident in college. Then again..... Never mind
