Good to finally get closure on this. And no, he won't be suspended. But I doubt we'll hear an announcement on that one.

@joebuscaglia

The Philly DA office just announced that the McCoy press conference will be today at 2:30. #Bills

@mikerodak

As expected, NFL spokesperson says LeSean McCoy matter "remains under review of the Personal Conduct Policy."

He's not going to be charged, because there is no evidence that he did anything wrong. His attorney has stated the same. Goodell is going to be hard pressed to do anything without facts supporting his position. As I said early on in this thread, the longer the Phily D.A. takes to determine whether they will even file charges, the less and less likely it is that it will actually happen. Being around an incident where you did nothing wrong is not a violation of the Personal Conduct Policy. The NFLPA would have a field day if Goodell does anything.

Did ya read the end of this article http://www.phillyvoi...s-lounge-brawl/ where it said;

McCoy signed a multimillion-dollar contract last year with the Buffalo Bills after he was traded from the Eagles. According to bigtrial.net's sources, if he was suspended for even one game, he would risk losing all of the guaranteed money in that new contract.

Interesting if true. It would never happen though. I say bull ****. Wouldnt that go against the definition of being GUARANTEED?

Guaranteed for injury, or behavior is a pretty common thing to put in contracts

suspension can't be more than 1-2 games, if any. That said, the Bills should draft a RB later in the draft as injury insurance. Perkins from UCLA would be a nice fit.

Being serious for a second, I wouldn't be surprised by at least a game or two, since its on video, and that seems to be what matters most to the NFL (public perception).

Doubt it. If the NFL tries to, they will lose on appeal.

So if the Bills wanted to they could have cut Mccoy with little or hit on the cap because of the incident?

Finally. Our long national nightmare is over.

I am hungry for another American Crime Story about a Bills RB......."If the video is bad, no charges will be had"

Is that champagne bottles popping at Shady's house? Or is he busy trying to find the real punchers?

That should probably reduce his jail sentence to a maximum of 5 years and as few as 3. Two with good behavior.

I would've surprised if Rog tried to suspend him with nothing but an ambiguous video.

I don't condone his behavior, and he was involved in something, but if the DA is not going to press charges, you have to hope no suspension. That would affect my feelings about the record next year by a game or two.

Listening to DA Seth Williams' Presser, there is no way in hell that McCoy will be suspended. Not going to happen.

Well that about guarantees that he will be suspended, way to jinx it. :P

There is no grounds for suspension. Merely saying "it makes the league look bad" isn't a valid reason.

Doc... Not in Rodger World. I can seem him shaking down Pegula for progress on the Stadium or else Shady gets suspended.

I was impressed with the DA. He should be on "Dancing with the Stars". He can dance and prance around just about anything. The cops were protected well. Bet their boss is not to happy with them.
