TheFunPolice Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I'm shocked he hasn't retired yet. Maybe he wants to run his offense one more year in LA
26CornerBlitz Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 @AroundTheNFL Peyton Manning's decision won't come this week, @JamesPalmerTV reports http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000640348/article/peyton-mannings-decision-wont-come-this-week
papazoid Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 his $19 mil is guaranteed March 9th or 10th he's going to make Denver cut him
TheFunPolice Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 To me, it looks like he wants to keep playing, and wants to be somewhere other than Denver. If they cut him he's free to go wherever he wants. He's got the rings maybe he wants to go out on a better note in terms of his play.
3rdand12 Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 If he can extract the fork sticking right through his torso, who knows? Backup to Eli........ lol ! To me, it looks like he wants to keep playing, and wants to be somewhere other than Denver. If they cut him he's free to go wherever he wants. He's got the rings maybe he wants to go out on a better note in terms of his play. I hope he know himself better than that. He got the ring , be satisfied Peyton !!
26CornerBlitz Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 @NFLonCBS Report: Peyton Manning wants to keep playing, exploring all of his options http://cbsprt.co/1QRN9gw
TheFunPolice Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 (edited) Manning has that 2nd ring, now he wants to wash the taste of being a game manager type QB out of his mouth. I doubt it works out well, sadly. But I'll certainly watch! I think it will be LA. They reportedly have interest, they have a sick defense and some great offensive weapons, and Peyton could play Seattle twice to get some measure of revenge. Edited March 1, 2016 by TheFunPolice
papazoid Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Agent: Peyton Manning still hasn’t decided whether to retire http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/03/02/agent-peyton-manning-still-hasnt-decided-whether-to-retire/ yea right.....lol
TheFunPolice Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 If he hasn't decided yet that tells me he wants to keep playing.
Dorkington Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Is it possible he's delaying his decision to get some sort of bonus that hits at a certain date?
26CornerBlitz Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Is it possible he's delaying his decision to get some sort of bonus that hits at a certain date? The Broncos will cut him before any bonus that he's due on March 9th.
Mr. WEO Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 The Broncos will cut him before any bonus that he's due on March 9th. Absolutely, no way Elway is going to pay him for another year. One of the worst QB performances in the league last year. He's done.
Dorkington Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 I heard here that only wins and losses matter, and he won the most important game, so.....
The Big Cat Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 I heard here that only wins and losses matter, and he won the most important game, so..... Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah, his 13/23 for 141 yards no TD's in a pick will go down as one of the worst QB SB "wins" of all time.
26CornerBlitz Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 I heard here that only wins and losses matter, and he won the most important game, so..... He won? Dude, come on! He was a strictly passenger on the Bronco's Super Bowl Train.
Mr. WEO Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 He won? Dude, come on! He was a strictly passenger on the Bronco's Super Bowl Train. More like a stowaway...

Dude, come on! He was a strictly passenger on the Bronco's Super Bowl Train. More like a stowaway... Nope, experts have said that the only player that determines a win or a loss is the QB. Peyton won the game alllllll by himself
KD in CA Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Nope, experts have said that the only player that determines a win or a loss is the QB. Peyton won the game alllllll by himself They certainly have. Remember when Trent Edwards was "5-1 as a starter!!".
Mr. WEO Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Nope, experts have said that the only player that determines a win or a loss is the QB. Peyton won the game alllllll by himself Manning's "SB winning" stats: 38/61, 1 TD, 2 INT
TheFunPolice Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 John Elway's stats from his first Super Bowl win in the "Elway vs Favre" bowl: 12/22 123 YDS 0 TD 1 INT Stats are for losers.
