26CornerBlitz Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Watch: Unfiltered With Jerry Hughes (8:50)John Murphy sits down with Bills Defensive End Jerry Hughes for 'Unfiltered.' They discuss this past season, what changes will be made for next season and more.
YoloinOhio Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I just watched this. Not a ton of info but he reiterated that they didn't realize at the outset how much more work needed to go into prepping with this scheme to make it successful, and they now get it going forward.

YoloinOhio Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 He cited that he's had 3 different schemes in 3 years. It isn't just simply learning the new one, it's constantly changing and new terminology, etc.
PO16FFS Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 " Like Aaron Williams against the Pats, I tend to take stupid penalties. Im really working on this part of my game " " With Kyle Williams out, Mario not trying and Dareus playing in coverage, people really got to see how fast I can be and how close I was to getting sacks. Next year will be big for me " I love these UNFILTERED interviews. This is not your typical Q&A B.S.!

YoloinOhio Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) oh f*cking snap, did he actually say that? wonder if he was the anonymous player that called out Mario in week 16 or so. no, he didn't say any of that. I think it was supposed to be a joke. He said that teammates should speak directly to each other about issues instead of speaking to the media. He seemed unhappy that it occurred. YoloinOhio Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 haha, i plan to watch when i get off work. gullible as usual. nothing earth shattering but he's fairly well spoken. One of my favorite Bills.
26CornerBlitz Posted February 4, 2016 Author Posted February 4, 2016 But is it URGENT? Without question and things like that.
Direhard Fan Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I like these interviews as well. He presented himself well and really seemed like he was being a team guy. He could be a really good captain if he stays away from those horrid 15 yard dumb plays. Kyle and him could really keep the "D" on an even keel. I like the guy.
machine gun kelly Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I really like Hughes. He tries and wants to win. Was he stupid with foolish penalties, but I believe he will get better next year. He seems to have the skills and speed for Rex's defense. Fredex, dude your killing me. When you wrote this I thought, he couldn't have said that. This was one awesome trade by Whaley. After Indy traded for him he was off the team, which is not exactly a powerhouse of a defense, and now lingering with the Dolphins.
3rdand12 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Kyle will be playing on crutches in 2016. Nice addition to the conversation! I picked that up from Hughes too! I like these interviews as well. He presented himself well and really seemed like he was being a team guy. He could be a really good captain if he stays away from those horrid 15 yard dumb plays. Kyle and him could really keep the "D" on an even keel. I like the guy. Easy to like. great hustle. I mean just look at those pass coverage highlights ( I am serious ). This guy along with Dareus are going to stabilize that line for a couple years. They seem to be buddies already and gaining some wisdom from the mistakes. now if he could just curb those personal fouls..
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Love hughes. I was getting on a plane in, Detroit I think?, and he was eating chicken while signing autographs and being super friendly with his family. I think it was right after he got married last year? Same time i was walking through the airport and said to my wife - Hey I think that's Matt Cassel. He proceeded to hide away, and get on the plane with sunglasses on and essentially hide in the corner of first class. Glad he isn't our QB...
The Big Cat Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 I don't mean to be a fuddy duddy (everyone please brace for fuddy duddiness): But it would kill the players to do these interviews wearing something other than their pajamas?
